Today’s black IPA is out of Utah! Not going to lie, I figured Utah to be the last state with a good brewery. The Dubhe (pronounced like doobie, which is fun seeng as it is brewed with hemp seed) has an interesting balance with an initial sweetish, roasted start and the ipa bitterness that really makes itself known and lingers. Surprisingly crisp and drinkable for its ABV & how dark it is. 4/5
