Why are people who have perfume as their hobby always so bizarre… anyway… obsessed with this review tbh
absolutely obsessed w her reviews
Arnold Schwarzenegger quoting Nietzsche word for word in the Netflix documentary was so beautiful I never noticed there is such a faint somberness behind his eyes. Smoking a cigar in the rain, talking about taking ballet lessons in the 1960’s to perfect his posing. I understand what middle school boys in the 80’s were on now he is my hero and friend and governor of california
interesting, this is from a new york times interview… never heard his conspiracy theory… marc bohan omg
The introduction Yves wrote for his 1983 Metropolitan Museum of Art retrospective catalogue was so good… it’s too bad that his writings were never released in full, tbh, beyond bits and pieces. I wonder what the YSL museum has in their archives, unless Berge burned them all lol. “It pains me physically to see a women victimized, rendered pathetic, by fashion.”
i’m aware we hate coco chanel here but i think polish expressionist feliks topolski (1907-1989) really hit on something with his sketch “madame chanel” c. 1950
