Something something sentimental
Being human is being forgotten.
We all feel like we're
Marble statues.
We saw Greece,
We saw Rome,
We saw stones
Of Neva,
We saw
Warsaw.
We've all traveled the world,
Through the epoch
Of dust
And of temples,
Made of cobblestone.
Yet we're leaves.
Oaks are soaking in sun,
And their young little
Leaves
Are creating a crown
Of life.
Yet life fades.
If I am on an oak,
Then in sun I now soak.
It all fades.
Yet my friends are all giddy
With Northern winds ,
And Northern sky,
And night-full air.
It was never about fizzy drinks.
My friend smiles,
And star dust
Flows like tears
On her cheeks.
My friend smiles,
And his hair
Sways with rye fields
Of the forgotten land.
My friends smile and they leave
Their footsteps on the sand,
And the Northern sea
Washes away their traces.
We're the only ones who saw
The sunrise
And the sunset
Of each other.
We were never alone,
Yet no one saw
Except us.
There is sand in my friend's hair.
They are giddy with light
And with youth.
There is nothing, but sun
When you are
On an oak.
Time will come.
But right now,
I am hugging their arms,
And I feel like they could
Make a try and embrace
The whole world
In their hands.
Sun is blinding my eyes
And I look for the clues.
There is name on the sand.
I have written it down.
Life will write it away.
Only oaks know the sound
Of the wave , that will crush
And destroy all my notes.
Water comes, water goes.
It has always been there.
It saw Prague,
It saw coals
Of the forgotten land,
It saw Rome and Anyos.
Saw
Warsaw
And my friends.
Water flows.
