I had to go to Wal-Mart since Trader Joe’s was closed and I saw this kid pick up a penny and eat it like an animal.
I felt like I was in the wild.
It's Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is the most uncharted territory known to man. Crazy things happen in there. Awfully crazy things.
Especially on Black Friday. I went there once on a Black Friday, and a big woman all dressed in black started shouting voodoo at me, and then she pulled my hair, all over Herbal Essences.
Puck just blinked, now with his own mouth agape. Still staring, however, because her actions and responses has been all but what he was expecting. "I’m not stare — " Well. …Was he just deemed a burglar? Stealing things? ……..Scat? Scat? Scat? Was he seriously just told to scat? Unknowing as to what else to — or how else to — or why else to — Puck wasn’t necessarily sure of how to respond to that, not in the least, he wasn’t.
Just. Just. “Did you just tell me to scat?” He eventually asked, incredulously. “Scat?”
"Scat? Seriously? Am I — what are you — do — scat?”
Whoever this strange man was, he most certainly was not getting the point. So, yes, it didn't actually end up seeming that he had somehow let himself in to steal anything. But maybe he was just, oh... The word, what was the word... Cunning, and trying to distract her?
"Yes, I told you to scat." So why wasn't he doing the act of scat-ing? Oksana, as result, frowned at the strange man. Though when he did not respond, she re-worded herself, after holding up a hand for him to not speak until she had spoken again. "Scat, or tell me how you got in here, and why you're here in the first place."
"I’m lookin’ for information on a man named Daniel Houser. I’m doin’ this a friend of mine since he can’t do it," she explained, reaching down and pulling her knife of of her boot. "Would you prefer to use scissors or this?"
Since Oksana had already agreed, she only pursed her lips and nodded. She hadn't heard of a Daniel Houser before, but she also would admit that she was not the most up to date person in the world when it came to the news on television, let alone in the newspaper.
"I'll take the scissors," she answered quickly, putting two and two together that with a knife, this job could prove to be painstakingly slow. Offering her hand out to take them, she had to ask, "what's the reason of interest with him?"
"When I let myself in," Puck simply responded, eyeing the redhead warily. Ironically warily because he was in her territory, but still warily through and through.
Oksana stood there, mouth agape with her head ever so slightly tilted to the side. She had never had to deal with a burglar before... Much less a burglar that looked at her as if he was looking at something dangerous.
"What are you staring at, then?" The red-head demanded, crossing her arms over her chest defensively. "If you were looking to score something to steal and sell, you won't find much." Really, he wouldn't, if that was the stranger's reason for coming. Still, Oksana glanced around the other, but the back door wasn't opened...? Nor was the window. To further extenuate Oksana's lack of experience in this field - the appearing stranger out of thin air in her apartment field - the next elaborate thing to come out of her very confused mouth was, "Scat."
"Alright, so as I was saying.. I need help cutting out information from the stack of newspapers that I’ve been collecting. Think you could help me with it?" Jo gave the woman a small smile.
Oksana couldn't differentiate whether she was immediately bored by the idea of newspapers and stacks, or intrigued as to what was so important. Eventually opting for the latter, she smiled back, and gave a curt nod. "What exactly are you looking for?" She inquired, glancing around for the stack.

Hello! So this is me trying out a new muse, which always proves to be horrifically immensely difficult. Oksana doesn't bite though, I promise & if anyone is interested, I'd love to thread with them, plus I'd super appreciate help getting started. I'll roleplay with anyone/everyone.
"Are you listening?" Jo asked, raising her eyebrow slightly.
Oksana's head shot up, and her cheeks turned pink. To be perfectly honest, no, she'd been completely distracted, but...
"Yes, of course! Go on."

Cameron sat at the piano just of the corner of the rec. room. His rendition of Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran carried through the halls of the huge house. He heard a crack and turn around startled by the noise.
“Oh…Sorry, I didn’t hear anyone come in. I thought I locked the door…” He mumbled softly running his hand through his hair.
Oksana had been wandering the halls something like aimlessly for the past half of an hour or so. The music had intrigued her, however, and also had given her some place to go, and perhaps some purpose to serve, whether it be something as small as complimenting the musician or not.
Once she finally reached the source of sound, Oksana opened the door, and to her defeat, it turned out to be possibly the loudest door in the entire place. Immediately flushing a light pink color, she met eyes with the stranger, but managed to smile, anyway. "There's no need to apologize," Oksana answered, shaking her head. "I only came to say that you were very good."
