After some feedback and careful consideration, we mods have agreed with feedback that it is not worth continuing this event.
We set out to keep the fanweek running to provide a space and incentive for people to share their LGBtQ+ headcanons, AUs, and works of art, from drawings to fics to meta. As the fandom shrinks and as fandom culture moves to a space where consumers of fanworks far outnumber creators, we feel that the concept of a fanweek will no longer survive in smaller fandoms and may dwindle in larger ones.
