tumblr isn’t considered a social media because everyone on here is just talking to themselves
yeah i agree
so like i was saying, bakuten shoot has an immaculate aesthetic, but i don't know if i want to replicate it, because what i'm going for with my own theoretical series is more the room for this sort of haptic experimentation that beyblade allows, and when it comes down to it, there's not much difference between it and dolls or plushes, much like how there isn't much difference between action figures vs dolls and plushes. the fact it has to be done in abstract and it has a competitive element doesn't necessarily imply much. tournament shonen can be for the girls. but i also don't want to fall back on traditional femininity. honestly, i feel like i'm on the cusp of a hypothetical beyblade series gender theory moment, and i'm not quite sure how it's going to manifest yet.
