🌻 Completely new art style and new Lum design ( I should probably make a detailed reference for her) but yeah. I am thinking about them. So much.

🌻 I really wanted to draw these two in other dresses AND practice more dynamic poses and this is what came out!!

🌻 Atlas and Lum have a very healthy relationship, but Atlas definitely wants Lum to give her the most attention,,, she’s her wife after all!!

🌻 Lum has a lot of fun seeing Atlas pout about that sort of thing

Winter Comfort

🌻 Atlas runs very warm and Lum (by very happy coincidence) runs cold, so each is very happy to act as a heater/cooler for the other!

🌻 The fur cape that Lum wears was a gift from Atlas - only the best for her beloved (she hunted the pelt herself!!)

Introducing Maple!

🌻 A honeybee! Named maple after the sweet syrup it produces,,,

🌻 Works as a farmer and grows a variety of crops alongside growing flowers for fun

🌻 Is very very gentle in nature and rarely if ever gets angry

🌻 All around super somft gorl, very nice

Confession

🌻 Lum travels a lot since her family are merchants by trade, and leaves for relatively long periods of time

🌻 She realises that all she has on her mind is Atlas and that she wants nothing more than to go back to her - and that Atlas probably feels the same now that she thinks about it?!

🌻 As soon as she’s back she makes a very firm confession that Atlas happily reciprocates!!

First Meeting!

🌻 Atlas fell first and fell hard, but was too shy to admit how much she loves Lumia until she’s sure that her feelings are reciprocated

🌻 While it was Lumia’s lamp that first drew Atlas towards her, after spending the night talking and getting to know each other Atlas was completely head over heels in love

Introducing Lumia!

🌻 Lumia is a firefly, so her name was chosen to reflect her nature as a light bringer

🌻 She carries a lamp (that represents the glowing abdomen of a real firefly) that helps her navigate and also communicate with her family across large distances

🌻 Lumia travels often as she comes from a large merchant family - she enjoys seeing new places and the plants native to those areas

🌻 Loves gardening and is amazingly skilled at bringing wilting plants back to life

Introducing Atlas!

🌻 Atlas’ design is based off of the emperor moth, but shares a name with a different larger species!

🌻 Her antennae can move and pick up very light vibrations like footsteps and even heartbeats

🌻 Is a hunter/scavenger and lives alone in the thickest part of the woods

🌻 Can navigate using the stars

🌻 Likes to sing and knows a lot about mythology

🌻 Knows how to spin silk, although she hasn’t done it for a long time now,,,
