Hey! So, some people who have LS get recurrant UTI's because the skin is vulnerable to infection. Dr Nighat Arif has written about it, but the tldr is low dose topical estrogen might/ can really help! If you haven't already explored it, it might be worth asking your dr about it.

If they published a case study I probably have read it / gone over it with a doctor, that’s similar to the next plan (going on low testosterone blockers) after the urologist which the hospital could only get an appointment for in the area for march so we take it with strides

I swear to all things good if the uti/kidney thing is back I’m getting violent because part of me fears it’s also from a cyst because they saw a cyst when I went to the er in October and when I went to and got admitted to the hospital in December and it was there both times in the same spot

Follow up on flare up SOOO because a few months ago I had a bad uti I took REALLY strong steroids it may have cleared the LS visually down there bc the doctor didn’t see it (I don’t see it anymore either) so the itching and discomfort I may be experiencing is nerve damage from the LS in general so back to lidocaine 🤩

It’s just funny because we KNOW I have LS because I have it on other parts of my body and I’m treating it with my dermatologist and the doctor has seen the spots and agrees it’s LS just not where it’s supposed to be 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
