Casual Lady Felicia
If such a thing could ever exist, as she always looks so glamorous
Lady Felicia in Father Brown: The Red Death (9x10)
Cockney Felicia maKES ME FEEL THINGS 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Random Father Brown Headcanon:
I actually don’t think Lady Felicia is that bad of a writer?
So we all know she is portrayed as quite dramatic and superficial, but we also know for a fact that a) most of this behaviour is rooted in her loneliness and b) Lady Felicia is actually deep, she just often chooses to look for distraction instead …
Anyway, I could talk for hours about this but in conclusion: many good writers started writing as a coping mechanism, these works are often not understood by the author’s immediate environment, *but* literarily speaking these very same works often hold great potential and can be incredibly meaningful.
…of course I could also be completely wrong and her writing is simply bad, who knows

christmas at montague as felicias lover? :)
Literally my first thought when I read this was: delicious! Hope you like it!
(NSFW) Christmas at Montague as Lady Felicia’s lover would include:
Lady Felicia taking you in as her own would include?
Lady Felicia taking you in as her own would include:
-no one was more surprised that she was. She’d always been a very impulsive, very flighty woman. But when you were around she seemed to find some sort of peace and wanted to settle.
-so she took you in.
-you were given a lovely bedroom at Montagu, you could have it decorated however you wished and furnished however you liked.
-she took the time to learn what you liked, so hobbies and music. Then she would get you things that would entertain you, she would buy records of the songs that you loved.
-not only did she dote on you, but so did her staff and the whole of Kembleford. Everyone was quite smitten with you.
-she became a very hands on figure in your life. She would take you to the pictures, to plays, take you to church with her. She’d have you be the star guest at her soirées too!
-you’d always be wearing the most stylish most flattering outfits- some of which she actually designed for you herself.
-if ever you were upset she immediately knows what to say or do to cheer you up.
-you make her so very happy and so she does her best to always make you as happy as she possibly can.
oh oh, what about - being introduced to the gang when youre felicias lady lover? is she nervous?
Hope you like it!
Being introduced to the Kembleford Crew when you’re Lady Felicia’s lover would include:
•she adores you, and you adore her. So it’s only natural that she should want you to meet her very nearest and dearest friends. She wants you to share in her life in absolutely every way possible.
•she’s far more nervous than you are, she cares about you and she wants so much for them to love you too, because you’re the best person in her life.
•even though you’re lovers you’ve agreed that for the sake of propriety you’ll be introduced as her “very dear friend Y/N”, but from what she’s told you of Father Brown he’ll definitely work it out almost instantly.
•on the way to the Presbytery she fusses over her appearance, checking her makeup in her compact mirror, brushing her clothes down and all sorts. She only calms down though when you take hold of her hand gently and press a few small kisses to her knuckles.
•the introductions go rather well! And before too long you’re sat at Father Brown’s kitchen table enjoying a cup of tea and an absolutely delicious award winning strawberry scone!
•Father Brown is very kind and takes great interest in asking you about your likes and interests, and Mrs McCarthy breaks out the amusing stories about Lady Felicia, which makes you laugh! Sid just loiters a bit, he definitely know that you and Lady F are lovers but you make her happy and that’s all he cares about.
•as you’re packing up to leave the Presbytery Father Brown discreetly draws you to one side and talks to you alone. He lets you know that he knows about you and Felicia without really saying the words, but he promises he offers no judgement- and that so long as you make her happy and never break her heart you’re welcome and he’s glad to have met you.
•you came away from the introduction feeling very positive, they were all lovely people and had made you feel very welcome. You’d definitely made new friends that day, and they’d be in yours and Lady Felicia’s life forever.
Being a fan (perhaps the only one) of Lady Felicia’s stories would include:
•when you meet her you feel as if you might explode with excitement or maybe faint because she’s your idol.
•Lady Felicia herself isn’t absolutely delighted! Though she won’t admit it she’s never actually met a real fanatic of her work, so when she meets you it brightens up her day no end!
•she signs your copy of her latest book and promises that you’ll love her next one too!
•she’ll invite you to have lunch with her at Montague and of course you say yes!
•when you have lunch with her she’s the most charming host.
•not only do you both talk about her work and her research into various topics, but she wants to know more about you too.
•she compliments you on your taste in books as well as your tastes just generally too.
•you become firm friends, she adores you just as much as you adore her.
•when Lady Felicia tells Mrs M and Sid that she’s met her number one fan they laugh it off and ask how much she’s had to drink. They make bets that you don’t actually exist.
•and that’s why when you are invited by Felicia to go to the Presbytery, Sid ends up having to eat his hat and Mrs M has to go a whole week without mentioning her award winning strawberry scones.
