Any newcomer to the Buccaneers’s Game Night, just kind of— like immediately assume Honoria going to be most serious about winning out of all the girls and most DEFINITELY between her and Mabel. She’s serious about everything. She was raised with two brothers who looked down on her so she has something to prove. Obviously she going to be competitive, right?

Until they witness Mabel almost jumping over a table to strangle Conchita for accusing her of cheating. Conchita, who, currently, has at least 3 cards stuffed into her bra (and had sworn an oath at 5 to rage-bait Mabel in every game they play). And, they realize they were so wrong. Honoria might actually be the most chill about losing, here.

Meanwhile, Mabel is a buzzing embodiment of needing to win so badly. It genuinely might be a health risk. None of the other girls are much better (although Mabel is def the WORST) and it becomes a free-for-all of insults every time. It becomes so bad, they had to start banning certain games. They played Monopoly: Cheaters once and, now never speak of that night or the game.

Both Honoria and Mabel LOCKED IN for couple’s night, though. Mabel, because of her usual competitiveness Honoria, because she knows if they win, Mabel will get so excited, she’ll jump her like a spider monkey and kiss her. They beat everyone in Charades and Pictionary every time. And, It truly might be by the power of lesbianism.
