Hello everyone! We apologize for the delay in sending out orders. Our shipping mod has recovered from covid-19 and is working hard to make sure orders get sent out. All digital orders have been emailed! Please check your spam folder if you have trouble finding it.

About half of our physical bundles have been shipped – domestic orders may take around two weeks, while international orders may take over a month to arrive. The pandemic has thrown off a lot of post offices, so we’ll do our best to update you with your tracking number via email. If you don’t receive your bundle by mid-July, please let us know and we’ll try to send you a new one! Unfortunately we do have limited supplies and can’t be liable for any packages lost in transit.

Loving Loudly — A Collection of Queer Short Stories

Originally written for @sapphicsweetszine Unfortunately, due to a communication error, the full piece didn’t make it in the zine. Luckily, I’m able to present an edited and full version of the piece here <3

A woman looks back on the bakery of sweets that make up her life, reflecting on the sweet, and sometimes painful, moments.

Word Count: About 2400

Warnings: Food Mention, Homophobia Mention

I kept my memories in a glass case like confectioneries in a bakery waiting to be consumed. 

Small moments, the ones that came in bountiful amounts that every child experienced and every adult felt, sat in candy dishes, waiting to be popped into one’s mouth and enjoyed for a brief moment in time.

The painful memories, the ones that left me hurt and scarred, were dark chocolate laced with dry cocoa powder. The taste was bitter to my palate. Strikingly strong. Even those memories, however, needed to be placed besides the other desserts. They begged to be consumed and not left to rot.

Every memory that crossed my path, that found a place in my life, that made itself a part of my identity, was formed in the kitchen of my life and carefully placed in the bakery of my mind. Some were more accessible than others, but each one existed together. All could be admired and tasted. They added to the diversity of flavors that was my life.

TL;DR Shipping on hold

Hi all, we apologize for the wait and the lack of updates. We’ve just gotten word that our shipping mod is battling COVID-19 and will not be able to ship out the last batches of zines. Some are already packaged and labelled, so their partner may be able to send those out, but shelter in place rules are pretty restrictive so there's no way to know if the post office will remain open. We're all hoping they can make a recovery, but for now shipping is on hold indefinitely.

Would you guys ever consider donating pdf copies of the zine to places like QZAP so that in the future people could still see it?

Hi anon, thanks for your suggestion! We’d like to make sure that all of our contributors are comfortable having their work freely available on QZAP, so we’ll likely make a final decision on that after PDF sales close. We’ll definitely consider it though!
