Mel nodded her head before looking over at her, “ I do. My daughter live here with her father.” She told her.

“Oh, that’s nice.”

“I just felt that it was time to come home. Had to deal with some loose ends and such before returning.” 

“Oh, I see.” Sarah nodded. She didn’t recognise the woman as baby Sarah’s mother, honestly she’d probably seen her like twice in the distance back then and a lot had happened in between then and now, like being kidnapped and... “killed”. “Do you have family here then?”

“I love you.” Harvey smiled over at her, before moving over to her and bending down. Kissing her lips lightly before pulling away some. Moving to the other side of the couch, he lifted her legs up and placed them onto his lap as he sat down. “I uhh–I ran into Melinda…Baby Sarah’s birth mum the other day.”

Sarah grinned back at him. “I love you too.” She chukled, blushing lightly as she leaned in to kiss him back. She still couldn’t believe she was even here right now, free and with him. “Wait, you did?” She frowned, putting the book on the side table as she looked back at him. “What is she doing here?” The answer should be obvious but it’s not like she had been around for baby Sarah before. So.

“Oh god, I honestly have no idea. Maybe three or four years I believe.” 

“Oh, wow... quite a while then.” Sarah gave a slight smile. “How come you came back here?” This town sucked, after all.. to put it lightly.

“Cait... no you’re not, come here.” Sarah moved to wrap her arms around her sister.

“You want to know something?” Harvey questioned, after he moved inside. He got back home from dropping Sarah off at daycare and moved into the kitchen to make them some breakfast.

Sarah looked up from her book with a little smile, watching him. “What?”

Layla stared at the five foot tall reindeer display in the park for far too long, her nose scrunched up the entire time. “If anyone should need me, I’ll be hibernating in my home until January first.”

Sarah couldn’t help but laugh a little, turning to look up at the reindeer and shrugging. “I mean... I think it’s kinda cute?”

Noah hadn’t been doing all that well since his encounter with Sunny.  He was thankful that he had a few days off from work and had spent most of that time just laying in bed staring at his ceiling but not today.  Today he had work.  After forcing himself to take a shower and get dressed, he made his way into the Coffee Bean, cringing slightly at how long the line was before grabbing his apron and stepping up to help the next person without looking to see who it was. “What can I get you?”

“Um... can I just have... can I get a strawberry milkshake, please.” Sarah stammered, feeling like she was tripping over her words. God, too much going on in her head. “Thank you.”
