Heya, I'm making an art gallery in my MC world but the date of creation of paintings is on Minecraft wiki for K.Zetterstrands paintings but not yours, could I get confirmation that they're 2024? Or are they 2023?
Heyo, sorry if I got to this late. Oh weird? Not sure why they kept the dates on those blank. Maybe because mine aren't from traditional originals?? Unsure on that.

hi i noticed your blog has been dormant since december- but Only december- so i thought i'd say i'm a fan of your paintings in minecraft! i'd love to know some of your philosophy with the decisions made, how the referenced paintings were chosen, stuff like that
i will admit, i'm definitely not the Biggest fan, but i won't be a hater just because i disagree with some artistic choices, i'd rather be curious than angry and ask you what your process was and stuff, and you're a really talented pixel artist! i'm absolutely not near your level yet and so anything i can learn from you is valuable :3

Hey! Thanks for reaching out! Yeah I mostly post personal art on this blog and sadly haven’t had time to finish any personal digital stuff. Been doing lil traditional doodles and paintings though. Been working on another C64 piece which I’ll finish eventually hahah
Here’s some of my process. Didn’t have one for the rose. But yeah I initially wanted to do typical pixel clusters and keep it nice and clean but we were afraid that they would look too different from the paintings by Zetterstrand (which were actual traditional paintings that were downscaled) I started with the still-life painting and messed around from there.
But yeah no prob if you’re not a fan of them! There’s lots of lovely painting mods etc out there if you’d like to replace them.
