Because the mag is released in the previous month Dec (2019) for the next month JAN (2020). So, it becomes Jan 2019 for publication date and cite the reference (MLA). It's correct.
But it is different on Vogue’s sites and social media.... only Taylor’s says JAN 2019.
stop demanding male artists publicly support taylor smh you don’t know their lives! maybe the wifi in ed sheeran’s hobbit hole is out! maybe shawn mendes isn’t available for comment because he’s grounded for getting his light up velcro shoes muddy! maybe drake is DJing at his girlfriend’s quinceñera! maybe charlie puth is suffering from extremely low blood sugar because his driver is ignoring his cries about how hungies he is! you don’t know!!
After obsessively listening to the new “Lover” album by Taylor Swift, I came to notice an uncanny, mysterious similarity among the 18-track collection.
Taylor is not only a brilliant lyricist but is also incredibly intelligent with her use of words. Thus, I cannot help but theorize that the overwhelming mentions of the color blue mean something deeper than what is at the album’s surface.
Let’s get started by first counting how many times blue is mentioned throughout Taylor’s 2019 album release. Taylor mentions the color blue 11 times throughout her lyrics which makes it her most-used color ever. (Yes, even more than that of her fourth studio album, Red.)
To first attempt in understanding Taylor’s use of this particular color, we must first understand what blue means. From Merriam-Webster, we can gather that that blue is:
In psychology, blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly. Blue is often seen as a sign of stability and reliability.
I find this color reference to be very puzzling when considering that Taylor, herself, described this album as being “ a celebration of love, in all its complexity, coziness, and chaos.”
By the way of the definition itself, blue is innately symbolic of sadness and emotions relating to grief whereas the human psyche alludes to the color blue as being calm. Je suis calme, perhaps?
What do you think that all these blue references indicate?
New song “Lover” is out tonight at midnight eastern! 💘 The music video will premiere after a very exciting YouTube Live situation on August 22 at 5pm eastern!
I have been thinking about possible titles for the second single. One theory I have is “29”. Here is some evidence:
1. Taylor Nation indicated that the hallway scene was significant for theories. There seems to be a number “29″ on the bottom right window panes.
2. Taylor released two songs with numbers as titles - “Fifteen” and “22″. There are 7 years between 15 and 22 and 7 years between 22 and 29. The new album will be her seventh release.
2. Taylor wrote an article for ELLE US titled “30 Things I Learned Before Turning 30″. She also told an interviewer that the new album would be released before she turned 30. The number that comes before 30 is 29.
You have to let music live with you for a while. You have to listen to it when you're not really listening to it. It has to sneak up on you when you're doing something else, or it finally starts to trust you. Because music is alive, and it's as wary of you as you are of it.
