With about 1,600 hours in MSFS 2020 and already about 100 hours in MSFS 2024 I thought I might return to my roots. On one of my first tumblr blogs (now lost to history) I began posting about my first digital journey back in 2021 for almost half a year. Many things have changed in my life, but some things stayed the same - my love for this genre of simulators for once, as well as my need to travel - whether irl or virtual.

This will be infrequent, perhaps disjointed, but some people might enjoy it. So here are the first pictures, taken today - the city of Eilenburg (1), the Elbe River near Muehlberg (2), the Boxberg Power Plant (3) and the Polish town of Boleslawiec (4).

A Journey Begins

I guess like any good project this one requires an introduction, so her it goes. Hi there, I am a lover of all things historical, natural, and cultural. I live in a small suburb and dream of a time when I can do amazing things in the world. This blog is a fictional piece where I explore the world with the aid of the internet and my trusty video game "Microsoft Flight Simulator" I know that sounds silly but let me share my vision. In real life I am a trans woman who dreams of full acceptance, in this fictional life we will be following Sarah a middle aged trans woman who is trying to fly to every country her airplane will take her. She starts her journey in the country of Malta and goes where her airplane her imagination will take her. I plan on sharing photos of the destinations she experiences, the cultural things she does, and some traveling tips for those who may wish to see these sites in real life. Everything may be trans coded but not overtly so. I plan on doing this not only to protect this blog from trolls but also because I want the blog to be relatable and entertaining for any that find value in it. The reason I chose Malta as my starting location is because it might be one of the most LGBTQ friendly locations in the world right now and it seemed like the kind of place that Sarah would desire to visit. It is also a great location to decide where to go next as it sits between Africa and Mainland Europe. Join us tomorrow as we explore the beautiful island nation of Malta.
