"Having fun there?"
Obviously. Bubbles, steaming hot water, liquor. I'm having a blast.

Though the music was obnoxiously loud, Elena blamed it on her sensitive ears. And because she was so new to this life, she had no idea what to order herself. She was used to drinking beer or shots of tequila or even Damon’s bourbon. “Hmm, sex on the beach” Elena smirked, peering over at Damon out of the corner of her eye. Can’t knock it until you’ve tried it. She waited and soon Damon not only had his bourbon, but Elena had her drink.Â
Damon was well aware of her choice of drink, what it was. He just hadn't been expecting her to order it. Never had he tried it, but the name piqued his interest. As his eyes scanned over her face, he couldn't help but feel like she wasn't enjoying herself quite yet. Maybe because there was no alcohol in her system, maybe not. Elena liked dancing and having fun at that fraternity party before.....so he hoped she'd at least loosen up a little. "You have to relax," he instructed. The bartender set their drinks down in front of them. Taking both, he handed her hers, gestured for cheers, and set his up right at his lips. Taking a gulp, he moved it away, swallowing the amber liquid the barely burned down his throat. As much alcohol as he'd drank over the past century, he was used to it by now.
They finished consuming their liquor. Damon took her hand, guiding her towards the crowd of people dancing. In an emptier part of the floor, where they could at least breathe, he started dancing. It'd been awhile since he'd come to one of these things. "Just have fun. Sway to the beat," he murmured loudly, though not too loud, as he knew she could hear him.Â

Eyes narrow in a playful manner at his conceited quip, her brow raising in mischief. “Try not to rip out any throats tonight then when men have their eyes on me” she said teasingly. It’s as if her blood is boiling, racing through her veins at the comparison of a diamond. It thrills her to know that he can think so highly of her. He didn’t see her as damaged goods even though it was pretty well known that she was with everything that’d happened to her.
When they arrive at the club, she glances over at Damon and with a slight wiggle of her brows she leans in. “I’m beginning to enjoy our traditions more and more” she said, stealing a kiss before slipping out of his camaro. Meeting him at the front of the car, she interlaces their fingers before walking towards the club. There’s no line but considering she is under 21, forever, she compels her way past the bodyguard.Â
They met at the front of the club, joining hands before they approached the bodyguards. Damon proudly watched his girlfriend compel her way through, a smirk on his face. Naturally, he guided her to the bar. The place was pretty packed for a Saturday night, at least considering the population of Mystic Falls. One day, he'd take her far away from this damned place. He'd show her Rome, Italy, Fiji. Damon had already whisked her away to New York, regardless of her humanless state at the time. He looked over her in a mere glance, turning his head to the bartender when the guy approached.Â
Damon ordered his usual, Bourbon. "And whatever the lady wants," he murmured, his head tilting to look at her face with a smirk.Â

guys, I've noticed that a lot of you have followed my Indie Damon. it's sarcasticdamon.tumblr.com
please don't follow unintentionally. I don't want you to get that account confused with this one. this one is for the RP only, and that one is not.Â
Hello again, Mystic Falls
Not exactly an even trade I would say. But since I’m feeling generous, I’ll see what I can do, okay? I can’t promise I’ll be able to find it. Many grimoires my mother collected have been destroyed over the years. But i’ll see what I can do, okay?Â
That's what I like to hear. Look at us....comradery at it's finest. Let me know what you find either way. If you don't have it, I know someone else that might. Keep in touch.

"And just how many girls will I be prying off of you tonight?" She asked in a playful manner as she placed her hands on the curve of his shoulder. "My boyfriend is irresistible as always" she cooed, kissing his lips once more before regretfully parting. "I didn’t know Mystic Falls became popular enough to get a club" she chuckled. Mystic Falls was a small town, disconnected from the rest of the world. It deemed fitting in a way, especially considering how much this town had changed in the past couple of years. With the supernatural activity, it was probably for the best that this town was broken off from the rest of the world.Â
Perhaps Elena would have been a little less tense if she didn’t know that Kol was lurking within the veil. It wasn’t a secret he wanted his vengeance on Elena and she had a feeling that he’d go to every length to reach it—including hurting her loved ones and that was not something she was willing to do. If it came down to her or someone she loved—Caroline, Bonnie, Damon, even someone such as April—she’d hand herself over. She also kept quiet about this little fact because she knew how Damon would react. He’d probably lock her in the cellar until she found some sense.Â
"You ready?" She asked, letting the stress roll off her shoulders and pushing a smile onto her lips.Â
Damon sighed against her touch, his body melted against hers. Their lips met chastely, sweetly after her playful little remark. Usually they were close to attacking each other. Kissing had become the very thing that curled his insides, making him want to get out of bed in the morning. Even as corny as that sounded, it was true. After loving her internally and quietly for so long, then letting it burst, getting his heart torn out of his chest.....God, he's never been so happy. He loved her with every fiber of his fucking being. But just this   he could wrap himself in her comfort and kiss her this way for the rest of eternity. Damon tried not to pout when she pulled away. There was a momentarily silence. He knew something was brewing in her head, but decided not to pry.Â
"Plenty of women, I'm sure," he said in a rather conceited manner, obviously teasing her. "But guess what? You're mine. I'm yours. And if any girl even bothers to look my way, remember that she'll be jealous of you. I don't trade diamonds," he murmured. Damon kissed her once more, quickly this time, before nodding. Entwining their hands, he guided her towards the front door and they left. In his baby blue Camaro, pristine as ever, they drove down the familiar roads of Mystic Falls. Soon they were pulling into the parking lot across from the new club. It was booming tonight, music audible from outside.Â

It was about time that Elena let loose for a night, and who better to do so with than Damon? She’d been stressed too much these past couple of months with the veil coming down and Jeremy seemingly stuck on the other side permanently. She let Damon convince her that a night out was just what they needed. Dressed in a pair of dark jeans, ankle boots, and a black draped scoop neck top, she was ready to go. Her hair cascaded in it’s usual waves over her shoulders and her make up was it’s usual natural finish.Â
Giving herself one last look in the mirror, she headed downstairs where she knew Damon would be waiting for her in the parlor—most likely nursing a glass of bourbon. “Okay, I’m ready” she called. “I really hope you’re right about tonight.”
Damon    just as expected    lounged on the couch, sipping a trusted glass of his favorite Bourbon. He could hear the distinct sounds of Elena clanking around upstairs, readying herself for their night out. She needed a distraction, and clearly he wasn't cutting it anymore. If he had to hear about her nerves one more time, he was sure he'd explode. Okay, maybe not literally, or even theoretically.... but still. Damon sighed. The eldest Salvatore was glad the Veil was still down, even though it posed a threat to all of them. Any being who'd lived and died was able to appear in their little town, frightening the hell out of it's inhabitants.Â
He'd known first hand how serous these vengeful supernaturals were, considering he'd gotten close to dying due to that damned hunter. Of course Klaus'd rescue at the last second. Only made sense.
Footsteps sounded on the hardwood stairs that descended to the main floor. Damon's head lifted, his eyes finding her. Elena wore dark clothing, like him, and heels that made her legs go on for miles. In her usual waves, make up fresh faced, he smiled. She looked beautiful, as always. Damon stood, smoothing his deep blue shirt, and setting the glass down on the side table. Approaching her, his lips quickly found hers. A throaty but seductive groan left his mouth when their lips parted. "All the other guys are gonna be so jealous when they see us," he said proudly. "My girlfriend looks hot."
Still mad, huh.

As fast as lightning, her hand met his cheek. “I chose Stefan because I was afraid! You asked me to make a choice and right then and there, I felt like loving Stefan was the right thing to do. I’m not even going to apologize for that either because it seemed like the best choice at the time. You and Stefan were in a better place and after what Katherine did to you two the first time, I wasn’t going to ruin that. And then when I turned, I couldn’t help it! But I guess you want to blame the sire bond on that, don’t you? So no, you don’t get to use that as an excuse and you don’t get to make this about Stefan. I’m not in love with Stefan, I’m in love with you and you…”Â
Elena shook her head, bringing her fingers up to her temples and slowly rubbing them in attempt to calm down. Taking a breath, she turned away and started to walk away before coming to a stop at the edge of the parlor. “No, I’m not leaving you because unfortunately, I am in love with you and leaving you wouldn’t solve anything. So yeah, maybe it is a mistake to love you because you have feelings for someone else but I guess that’s just the crappy luck that I get. I mean, it’s one thing having Katherine Pierce crawling her way back with her lies and manipulation. I thought that was who I was going to have to worry about, but no. It’s Lizzie. It always comes back to her.”
Damon saw it coming, felt it from a mile away. The back of Elena's hand hit his cheek in a fury, momentarily leaving a stinging feeling. This was one of many times he'd been slapped by her. It wasn't a good feeling. Suddenly he found himself coming back down to reality, realizing what a complete idiot he was being. "It's not Lizzie. It's not Katherine, either, Elena. I don't hold even a fraction of desire for either of those women. It's you. It's always been you. It will always be you. I'm not saying I don't want you and I want her. I'm not saying that. I'm telling you the truth. And maybe I'm an idiot because I finally got the girl. We were finally in a good, happy place. I screwed it, as per usual. But if you'll still have me....I want you. I want you forever, as corny and stupid as that sounds."
He swallowed the lump in his throat, a look of regret filling his features. Damon stepped after her, almost desperate now. His mouth dropped a small bit, nearly begging for her forgiveness now. He couldn't lose her. His eyebrows furrowed together in utter rejection, wishing he could take this whole conversation back. They should be in the shower right now, making love and sharing kisses    but instead, he was picking up the pieces of his own screw-up, or fuck-up rather. "I don't   I'm sorry, okay? I don't apologize, Elena. I'm completely in love with you. Lizzie will never captivate me in the way that you do. It will always be you. Even if you did walk away."

The glass of the amber liquor fell from her hands and shattered on the ground before either had time to react. In that moment, her heart truly sank. Of course, it was her own fault in a way. She’d been so indecisive between him and Stefan that she could only blame herself, right? But she’d been so afraid to give in to her feelings for Damon before and now that she had…he was in love with someone else. Not just anybody either, but Lizzie. Eyes bubbled up with tears and she took a step back from him, disbelief coursing through her. “How could you?”
It just didn’t make any sense. So unlike him. Damon had always seemed loyal. It was a strange thing to say considering his womanizing ways, but she just never deemed him as the type to fall in love with more than one person, at the same time nonetheless. Brows furrowed in pain and she took another step away from him. “After everything we’ve been through..what is this? Some kind of sick, torturous payback for being too afraid to give into the way I felt about you?” She asked, her voice breaking. “How can I be with someone who doesn’t love me the way I love them? Here I thought it would be you that would doubt my love, not the other way around” she scoffed, shaking her head and trying to turn off the amount of pain she felt.Â
Damon's heart sank at her words. He half-expected a slap in the face, but this was somehow worse. Talking....always talking. This is why he didn't want to tell her, Lizzie, or anyone for that matter. Damon would've rather kept it bottled up inside, a hidden secret from anyone and everyone. Because no matter how hard he tried to be the good guy for her, it never seemed to work out. "If you really believe that, Elena, then turn around and walk away right now. I told you the truth because I thought you deserved to know that much. Would you rather me have lied to you?" he asked. Damon shook his head; this was unfathomable.
"I'd apologize, but I'm not really sorry. I didn't say I fell in love with her, or even that I'm in love with her. I told you that I have feelings for her. I love her, Elena. But guess what.... I chose you. Kind of like you chose Stefan over me, but now it's Lizzie in my place. If you really believe that I don't feel the same way for you that you feel for me, than maybe you need to re-evaluate things. Because time and time again I've risked my life for you. I protected and loved you through everything. And I watched you love my brother for two years, Elena. I cared about you too much to walk away, even after you chose him again." The vampire tried to forget the fact that she'd just shattered a glass with liquid in it, ruining his favorite Persian rug.
He felt himself come to a boiling point, not sure if he was angry or upset or even just ruthless because he was certain any moment she'd turn around and walk away. What the hell else do I have to lose? Damon threw his own glass into the fire, watching the flames burst as they connected with the alcohol. "I'm pretty sure I've had these feelings for her for awhile, since even before you chose me. I didn't give into them, I never did. Sure, we fucked, but that was eons ago and at this point.... you're the only woman I want. I look at her and don't desire her. I just feel like shit because I wish I did. She deserves that much. And because of you I'll never want anyone else the same way again. So go ahead, leave. Run back to Stefan because clearly you made a mistake in choosing me."

"I’m always irritating you. That’s friendship, asshole. Get used to it." she smirked. She saw his eyes open and she grinned. "Hi." she said. "Come on. It’s after 10. Get uppppp!" she said, shaking his shoulders.Â
As he spoke, Lizzie’s eyes grew wide and she jumped backwards off the bed, landing on her feet. Her eyes trailed down to the tented sheet. “You’re a pig.” she remarked, throwing a pillow at him. “I’m going to the beach.” she said, her hands on her hips. “Take care of yourself…and meet me there.” she grabbed her beach bag, tossing the strap over her shoulder. “Have fun.” she winked, ducking out of the hotel room.Â
Lizzie spread her towel out on the beach and laid down on it, She was once again grateful for the daylight ring as she sunshine warmed her skin.Â
He laughed mischievously. "Oh....come on! Help a guy out," he teased. Damon snickered as he watched her leave. Hopping up off the bed, he studied the length of his hard member, chuckling again. The vampire finally got it to go down, changing into a black bathing suit, and left the hotel room. On his phone's lock screen was two texts from his brooding brother, one from Elena, and a missed call from Liz Forbes. Ignoring all of them, he sauntered down the hallway, silently seeking his prey as he made his way down to the beach. A young petite blonde stood by the elevator.Â
Damon put his game face on. He leaned against the frame next to the girl, waiting for the elevator to arrive. Luckily it was taking it's sweet time. "Hi, I'm Damon," he introduced as he saw her checking him out. "Brittany," she responded shyly. It was almost further intriguing him. It helped that she was wearing the skimpiest bikini he'd ever seen, her tits introducing themselves. The doors soon opened   and thankfully they were the only two in there. As it began moving, he suddenly slammed his hand against the emergency stop. The girl started to scream, but he rested his hand over her mouth. Brittany stared up at him with scared eyes, causing a smirk to appear on his face. "Shhhh. This won't hurt much...." he promised, pushing a piece of hair back. Damon pushed her back firmly against the wall. Tears rushed down her cheeks. "No crying," he compelled, "You aren't going to make a sound, Brittany. You'll enjoy this." And with that, he bit into the pulse point of her neck. He needed this.
Soon after, the girl's bite mark healed with his blood and compelled to forget, he met Lizzie down on the beach. "Hey stranger," he murmured, taking a seat right next to her on his own laid out beach towel. The sound of the oceans waves crashing together was relaxing. It'd been awhile. Damon let his back fall backwards. His sunglasses were on, daylight ring, and the feeling of the warm sun beating on his skin was incredible. "Nothing like home, that's for sure."

Elena’s emotions had been all over the place lately it seemed. Though she knew that she was being stupid, she couldn’t shake them off. She worried that something was going to happen between Damon and Lizzie or Damon and any girl really. She just had to keep reminding herself that Damon told her it was always going to be her and love wasn’t an easy thing for Damon.Â
Expecting him to be in the shower, she was surprised when she saw the raven standing in the parlor. “Hey…did we move the shower downstairs or something?” She asked, mildly joking. Something didn’t feel right.
"You did tell me to wait," he reminded her, his voice slightly breathless. Damon tried to laugh, but it came out sounding strange. His eyes studied the flames in the fireplace for a moment, then he looked down at his empty glass. Part of him felt as though he was committing suicide, knowing that she'd turn right around and walk away. Why would she stay? Elena didn't deserve someone who was in love with another person. While he argued that mentally, he also considered the fact that he loved her while she'd been with his brother. Again, an interesting dynamic. "Want a drink?" he offered. Damon sauntered over to the little station by the liquor cabinet, pouring Whiskey for himself.Â
It was almost like they'd traded places. "There's something you need to know. Something I wasn't even aware of until as of... well, yesterday," he began. Damon made her drink and walked back over to her, handing it over. "I   have feelings for Lizzie. I love her. And it sucks. It sucks because people don't love me back, and now here I am feeling something for a girl who feels the same way about me. I told her first, yesterday. I told her something like, 'I guess the feelings I have for her are indescribably more intense than anything I feel for you.' And then I left."
Secrets I've kept hidden || Delena
Damon had a rough day of feeling guilty. He couldn't take it anymore.... nor did he want to prolong the agitating feeling that Elena wouldn't forgive him. He'd wanted her for too long, loved her too much. He couldn't imagine the pain he'd feel as she walked away. It was horrifying and painful, all the same. Damon paced through the living room, trying to finish off his glass of blood. He threw the remaining bit back.
The front door creaked open and she soon came into view. "Hey," he said, almost sheepishly. How the hell was he supposed to tell her this?Â
