Well, I must admit that there are few things a trip to McDonald’s can’t fix. Okay, okay, but I’m spending the night with you because I am terrible at hiding my drunk/hungover behavior from my parents. The last time I think they were onto me and I don’t need a lecture.

Of course; you know you’re always welcome chez moi, and I’ll have your favorite guest bedroom made up for you-- just the way you like it. I’ll pick you up at your place at say, 9PM and we’ll head straight to Scandals from there. I’ll pay for the Lyft home so we can both drink to your weary little heart’s desire.

You know, you take me to Scandals every break up and while it’s fun the night of- the next day I’m still sad just with a hangover. What makes you think it’ll be any different this time?

Yeah, sure, that’s what I said.

Because the next day when we’ve both got those fun hangovers, I’ll take you to IHOP or Mcdonald’s-- your choice-- and we’ll stuff our faces and watch those super gay musicals that you love so much until you feel better. We’ll drink so much alcohol and watch so many musicals that you’ll forget all about your loser exes like Trevor and Jeep.

We’re not going to kick him off entirely, Seb. He’s a good asset to the team. My personal life doesn’t have to seep into the Warblers…though it’ll be tough to face him. I really need to not date the boys at the school…this is the third time this has happened– second time it was a Warbler. Jeff and I are on decent terms but it’s still awkward.

No, not really. It was the “it’s not you, it’s me” speech, really. I didn’t get any good reason, though. Like I said, I thought things were going really well. I really liked him and I just…I don’t know. I’m sad about it.

Why not? By the by, you misspelled “ass” there. As in, “he’s an ass to the team”. Breaking the heart of the vice-captain-in-charge with a competition right around the corner is a pretty detrimental to the team. But yeah, it’s kind of hard to keep yourself in check with so many pretty preppy boys in this school... Jeff seems to be doing fine with his new plaything, anyway.

Well of course you’re sad about it, you just had your heart broken. But we’re going to remedy that right now by drowning your sad feelings with expensive liquors. You, me, Scandals-- we’re going tonight.

Trent, Sebastian. His name is Trent. Yeah, he did. He wasn’t always a bad guy…I mean..he’s not a bad guy. I just don’t understand what happened. Everything was going so well, I’m beginning to think I’ll never be good enough for anyone.

Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. And you’re right, he’s not a bad guy-- he’s awful. He’s not even a good singer or dancer; it’s a wonder why we don’t just perpetually put him in the back row as to not expose his terribleness to the audience at performances. Or kick him off the Warblers entirely.

Did he give you a reason when he broke up with you? Or did he just leave you hanging after he engulfed his disgusting meatloaf dinner without paying for the check?

I will never understand the trend of asking someone to dinner to break up with them. I wouldn’t have gotten dressed up to have dinner with my boyfriend if I had known at the end we would just be broken up- why beat around the bush?
