Hey friends, first of all I want to say happy trans day of visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

Secondly, I want to give an update. I've had some messages about my marauder fics, how I'm doing and more. To every lovely person who has reached out, thank you, it's so appreciated.

To be honest, I've fallen really out of love with writing in the hp fandom. The further I got, the more I didn't want to be in jkr's world, attached to anything jkr does, promoting or talking about it. It no longer became an escape or enjoyable for me, and I really lost my spark with it.

I'll always be appreciative of the community it has given me, and in awe of the incredible artists and writers in our space of the internet. I have zero judgement for anyone who participates and loves and works in this fandom. Maybe one day I'll go back, and maybe one day I'll finish my hp fics, if I am back in the right headspace.

I won't take down the fics, because I know that's the art of getting by especially means a lot to people. It means a lot to me too, and I will always be proud of it. The work healed me in many ways.

For some reason, I have recently been receiving some very hateful comments on that fic, including awful slurs. Please know that I will absolutely delete those comments immediately, so that nobody ever has to see them when engaging with the fic. My work should always be a safe space <3 If you don't like anything, don't read it and move on.

Please in the future I would also prefer if my work was not posted anywhere else, translated anywhere else, profited from in any way (including binding the work and selling it to others/paying for materials for others to bind the work). It is for your personal enjoyment only.

I'm focused now on my own personal writing, and joining fandoms for book and tv media that unashamedly supports queer and trans people. I urge everyone to do the same, and encourage everyone to boycott the new hp show on hbo, which will only fund more of jkr's hate.

Thank you for everything, and for supporting the fic that I wrote when lockdown was dark and I needed you. Forever love <3

Hi, not to put pressure or anything on you, but it's been a while since you updated your fics so I'm wondering if they should be considered abandoned

hey friends, I've had quite a few (very lovely!) asks about my fics and how I've been doing. and HOWDY it's been a time. Honestly I haven't really had the mental space to be online, reading or participating in fandom, let alone be writing too. But I really do thank everyone so much who has reached out, it honestly makes me feel so connected and motivates me so much <3 To answer the question, nope none of my fics are abandoned. However I'm not quite sure when I'll be able to update, particularly as right now I'm doing a bit of a rewrite of when covered in snow (no major plot points or anything, more for me and some of my characterisations and to get back into it). I hope to have that complete in the next few weeks along with the new chapter.

I want to tell you that I want you will probably be updated after that.

I'm really enjoying the process of rewriting, and to be honest some of the things that I've been going through and my emotions will feed into it in a way that's super cathartic.
