When I was younger, I used to read my mother's @wmag and @voguemagazine and my @gq and #Details (God rest its soul) every month, fascinated by the fantastic photographs, captivating stories, sleek packaging, and trend setting imaging. And I noticed a common thread, on the masthead, I saw one name, "Condé Nast," and a dream was born. If you ask anyone who knows me well where I've always wanted to work, and what I've always wanted to do, they'd answer with that same name. When I moved to New York almost 6years ago, I'd walk by the old offices at 4 Times Square, look up at the towering structure of glass and steel and say "one day." That one day arrived on Monday, May 9th, 2016, my birthday and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate. And as I sit at my new desk composing this post, almost one week in, I am still in disbelief. My dream, the thing for which I've longed, pined, WORKED, prayed and desired has, at long last, come true. Thank you to all of those who pushed, encouraged, pulled, and prayed that this would happen for me. I couldn't have done it without you. I am absolutely enthralled to begin this next chapter of my journey. (at Condé Nast)
