â Is it that easy to light a fire under you?â He posed to the woman, amused, but he was not trying to rile her up.m â Listen, ARGUS has gone through the paperwork, DOD, Joint Chiefs, Director of DOJ so the chain of custody is intact. My team is here to run those samples back to our R&D. Faster you wrap it up the faster we might be able to all go home and maybe .. meet up later.â
âIâm doing this as fast as itâs humanly possible,â Lizzie spoke, still annoyed. She looked at the guy standing in front of her and handed him what he was waiting for. âWeâll see about that later...â Lizzie winked at him and smirked while going back to what she was doing earlier.Â
how do you feel about all the heroes and vigilantes?
Havenât talked to most of them, but they seem nice.

âNever said you couldnâtâ Riley commented not looking up from what she is doing. âAnd I am doing my job, or Iâm trying to but it would be a lot easier without you complainingâ the DEO agent said while finished up the stitches.
Lizzie rolled her eyes while looking back at what she was doing. âWel, maybe I could actually do mine if people stopped interrupting me saying Iâm doing it wrong.âÂ
what do you find yourself doing after a long day to unwind?
Reading, probably.
who are your favourite people so far?
Alex and Micah

âitâs fine, donât worry about it,â micah waved off the apology. besides, she had came up against worse before. âi was just wondering if you wanted to walk me through it, that way i could maybe try and help â i didnât mean to suggest that you couldnât do it on your own.â
âOh, if you want to, of course I can,â Lizzie said trying to show the girl what she was doing. âYou got to just be patient and...âLizzie kept on showing how she did things. âJust try...â

â excuse me, â oliver calls out, quickening his pace just enough to catch up with the person in front of him. thereâs a charming smile and his hand extends outwards offering them the object in his grasp. â â i think you dropped this.âÂ
Lizzie was lost in her thoughts when she heard the strangers voice come in her way. "Oh, thank you." She said while accepting her wallet. "I lose things all the time, thanks, really." She smiled at the stranger, but she was almost sure she recognized his face.Â

âi wasnât trying to say that you were,â micah mumbled. she was an ex-officer, she knew how frustrating it was for someone to question her abilities; more so now that she had lost her sight. âiâm⊠sorry.â
âOh,â Lizzie said, regretting her tone. âIâm sorry...â she said more quietly than before. âI just... misunderstood what you meant, I guess.â Lizzie went back to what she was doing, hoping Micah didnât think she was a freak.

alex watched the exchange with a roll of her eyes. everyone was just so wound up lately and it was getting frustrating. the deo wasnât exactly a warm and fuzzy place to work, but this was getting ridiculous. âif you two are done can we maybe get back on task?â alex swept her hair back behind her ear as she looked at the computer screen. âany time today would be preferable.â
Saskia sighed while rolling her eyes, going back to what she was doing before. âIâm sorry.â She muttered, not daring to look at Alex. âBut, the only reason why Iâm not doing it, itâs because someone,â the girl look at the person next to her, âis interrupting me.â Saskia didnât mean to be rude, or anything like that, she just hated when people tried to teach her things she knew she was good at.Â
"Listen," Saskia talked a bit too loudly, already feeling anger growing inside her, "Last time I checked, I could still do my job." She breathed heavily while trying to calm down. "And you should go make yours! Don't you think?"Â
