STOP IT STOP TAUNTING ME!!!!
Can't separate me from that one musical I saw three times in one week because I was so touched by it but it's such an unpopular and local production that there's no bootleg, fanfic, or piece of fanart online except for the soundtrack on Spotify. I love you The Invisible. Will never forget the first piece of WWII content I sincerely enjoyed
It’s my birthday guys….
hehahhehaheha doody
honk shoooo
this is probably not a new concept but I was doodling it earlier and found it cute
I'm getting obsessed with the idea of marisette and eposette at the same time. Like
This is my wife and this is my wife's wife
NO REAL ACTUALLY
Okay fine I'm sold on the Marisetteponine polycule
I just finished the color sketch.
Christopher Nolan almost allows colors into his mythical epic shot on 70mm IMAX film. thank god they stopped filming in time.
Those were the gods trying to make your film be the coolest most magical thing it could possibly be and you denied them. You denied the gods' help.
i think when actors need to leave a show for whatever reason but the character is important and doesnt need to be written off / writing them off would make the story worse i think they should just hire a new actor for the character but, and this is the crucial bit, hire a similar-looking actor of a different gender. Yeppp they look different bc they transitioned between seasons. Obviously
i hate my resting bitch face 😔😔😔😔😔
This may sound crazy op but I used to be really really jealous of people with rbf. Idk something about it is so fascinating to me
living under a rock is so fun i love watching a movie that’s been famous for decades and being like wow this is so good.. did you guys know about this
Have you guys heard about this movie called pulp fiction
Anytime I have to blow up an air mattress/listen to an air mattress be blown up I using the noise produced by the machine as a drone and sing Endgame 1 overtop of it. It’s very healing
People are like “these animals have exoskeletons and these ones have endoskeletons” but no. It’s all exoskeletons, your exoskeleton is protecting your bone marrow which is where your soul (which is you) is. The rest of the stuff is extraneous decoration that Big Pharma wants you to think is important/
Why do you think there’s so few ghosts around? Why are most ghosts people who died violently? You gotta crack the bones to let the soul out. Most souls are trapped alone in the dark and silent ground (or teaching hospitals) for hundreds or thousands of years until the bones eventually start to break. People who are cremated get their whole soul released and it can reincarnate. But if someone dies violently then maybe only a couple of their bones are cracked and a little scrap of the soul escapes but it’s incomplete and confused. Can’t figure out how to leave, gets obsessed with its own circumstances, repeats actions, CANNOT be reasoned with. PROOF that the soul is in the marrow.
See I know what I’m talking about.
Sin is stored in the teeth btw which is why young children are innocent (they’ll get a do-over with replacement teeth) and the elderly are shameless (once you have no teeth to remember your sins, you have nothing to fear).
Upon review I think that maybe vodka isn’t for me.
I love you musical Marius Pontmercy you’re so silly I love to make fun of you
I LOVE watching him crawl over the fence before A Heart Full of Love and then falling directly on his ass. What a fucking dork
freddie trumper at the end of endgame (broadway, 1988). he is so affectionate and giddy
I got to hold a 500,000 year old hand axe at the museum today.
It's right-handed
I am right-handed
There are grooves for the thumb and knuckle to grip that fit my hand perfectly
I have calluses there from holding my stylus and pencils and the gardening tools.
There are sharper and blunter parts of the edge, for different types of cutting, as well as a point for piercing.
I know exactly how to use this to butcher a carcass.
A homo erectus made it
Some ancestor of mine, three species ago, made a tool that fits my hand perfectly, and that I still know how to use.
Who were you
A man? A woman? Did you even use those words?
Did you craft alone or were you with friends? Did you sing while you worked?
Did you find this stone yourself, or did you trade for it? Was it a gift?
Did you make it for yourself, or someone else, or does the distinction of personal property not really apply here?
Who were you?
What would you think today, seeing your descendant hold your tool and sob because it fits her hands as well?
What about your other descendant, the docent and caretaker of your tool, holding her hands under it the way you hold your hands under your baby's head when a stranger holds them.
Is it bizarre to you, that your most utilitarian object is now revered as holy?
Or has it always been divine?
Or is the divine in how I am watching videos on how to knap stone made by your other descendants, learning by example the way you did?
Tomorrow morning I am going to the local riverbed in search of the appropriate stones, and I will follow your example.
The first blood spilled on it will almost certainly be my own, as I learn the textures and rhythm of how it's done.
Did you have cuss words back then? Gods to blaspheme when the rock slips and you almost take your thumbnail off instead? Or did you just scream?
I'm not religious.
But if spilling my own blood to connect with a stranger who shared it isn't partaking in the divine
I don't know what is.
This is the axe
My knuckle rests exactly in the triangular plane just above the orange intrusion, and my thumb on the plane with the white patches.
How many hands held it just like that? How many generations was this passed down? Were you lost? or did you fall into disuse when technology improved?
Do you still desire to be held?
This was the axe that made me ugly cry in the museum. It was created half a million years ago by either Erectus or Heidelburgensis, and was passed down from person to person, long enough that somehow a neanderthal picked it up, and passed it down to their family.
It has now felt 3 generations of human species hands, it's smooth but still sharp except where the very tip has been broken off, but it shows that this axe was loved and taken care of. And it is still being taken care of! It was used to teach archaic children to build, to carve meat, to break bones, and now it is being used to teach us about all those people who came before us and put their hands right where we put ours.
The fact that @gallusrostromegalus and I put our hands on the same place and felt the same rush of emotions only days apart is amazing, but its not new. People loved this axe, it belonged to their loved ones and it's full of all those emotions. And if there's anything to take away from humanity, new and old, it's that we love a good rock.
Hello! You and I never met, but I feel like we've held hands now, the same way that we held hands with everyone else who's held that axe, and I think that's lovely :)
Fuckkk maybe I’m just tired but this post made me tear up
Headcanon ❤️
Eclair Cookie is approximately 1600 years old ( and probably of some Celtic or Gaelic origin ). One day he accidentally entered some ancient tomb and was cursed with immortality for his trespassing. But he took it on the chin and said “I’m immortal? Oh, good! Now I can study history and astronomy forever!” Guys think about it. No really think about it. This is why he looks so young yet has the wisdom of an old man. This is why he is occasionally somewhat socially inept in certain situations; he’s had to adapt to the rapidly changing social cues of the centuries gone by. And moreover, now you can picture Eclair in your favourite historical events/eras! He’s seen them all with his own two eyes!!
Genuinely love the folks who headcanon Eclair as immortal. As someone who headcanons he's a zombie, both parties can agree that bro doesn't really need to worry about the reaper. Either way, he can study and experience all the history he wants! :3 (Mine just is a bit smelly, can take himself apart, has a hunger for other cookies, and is immune to any boobytraps that may surround ancient sites.)
