and this is why my dog is dog reactive and its so frustrating. I will gently but firmly kick your dog if she threatens the training I've spent hundreds of dollars and hours on with my sweet girl. AT least practice recall with your dog??

A related problem I deal with is that so many people take deep offense if you try to be responsible. I’m a dog walker and people with and without dogs of their own take it SO PERSONALLY when the dog I’m walking and I keep our distance unless invited, it’s fucking ridiculous.

“You think your dog is too good for mine?! Why won’t you let me pet your dog?!” No Karen but I don’t know your dog and I don’t know you. Sorry I’m not in the mood to risk a dog fight or unknowingly triggering someone’s allergy or dog phobia because you can’t be a grown up and use your words to ASK me if you can pet my dog or if our dogs can play together or whatever the hell it is you want from us, but I have shit to do today.

As of right now, the worst news I’ve ever had to give a client about their dog is that their puppy rolled in his own shit when I looked away for five seconds, and I’d like it to stay that way if at all possible.

Absolutely! I remember that exact situation when i was a Kennel attendant! And in the vet world pre-covid, sometimes people wouldn’t leash their dog in the waiting room (heck sometimes during covid they won’t leash their dog in the parking lot). Like there could be dog reactive/aggressive dogs, but there are also diseases they could catch! People just need to put themselves in other peoples shoes and not take it personally. Maybe you’re walking that dog far away from others because he has Kennel Cough! or you’re walking an immunocompromised dog!

It took me a few seconds to realize this is new! The art style and the animation style are so similar to the originals that the only tells I could find are the higher quality from the ones I grew up with and they were never in a sushi restaurant in any of the old shorts I remember.
