we all talk about how HM's and Philip's and maybe some of Charles' patronages and military appointments should be distributed.. but we don't talk enough about the DoK's.. he has some heavy hitters that imo should be with someone higher up.. let alone the fact that the man is basically retired

The fact that no matter who is telling the story, whether that be the press, his brother, or the public, the only constant is how much William loves and protects his wife.

He willingly takes being called workshy Wills so Catherine won't get bad press, he attends engagements with her after revelations so he talks to the press instead of her, he encourages people to follow and engage with Catherine's Early Years work (remember the big 5 survey? I remember at an engagement he reminded a lady to make sure she completes the survey for his wife's work 😭), he chooses the photographs she took to launch his legacy project of Earthshot, he makes sure she presents one of his prizes at the ceremonies, he constantly checks in with her throughout engagements, and so much more.

The place she considered home.

Where her darling beau proposed;

Where she and her husband spent the second part of their honeymoon — deer stalking in army boots, she felt like she was a Russian commando leader followed by her faithful cut-throats.

Where she got to enjoy the last summer holiday with her ailing father;

And where she could be away from prying eyes after becoming the UK’s new leader.

Where she saw her family steadily growing;

There she first allowed the cameras to catch a glimpse how their daily lives were going.

Not only did it witness the smoky barbecue sessions and where running after the dogs took place;

It was also where she found refuge when her family was put to the test.

After 70 years of being steadfast, there she spent her final earthly days.

Giving her all for what she thought was best;

Until the end, she put first her duty.

To the place where she dreamed of living as a normal countrywoman;

Now she bid farewell to be with the love of her life in the eternity.
