Spade is an old deck of cards that’s been in the house for years, with a sassy attitude and the mischief to go along with it she has plenty of stories to tell.
{The visitor huffs pitching the bridge of their nose between their fingers whilst sighing.}
Yes I could see that much clearly. Either way it’s none of my business so.
{Taking a step forward the visitor looks down at the two extending a hand.}
Allow me to make a proper introduction. The names Spade, I truly apologize for startling you both dear. My intention was to got both of y’all’s attention not scare ya to the high heavens.
{She smiled all be it awkwardly as they crouched slightly so she didn’t tower over the duo.}

[Not many people dwarfed Jerry's 6'7 self, but he absolutely beamed as he shook their hand-]
Jerry- Curator of Jerry's Junk Drawer- A pleasure Spade- This here is my twin brother Lawrence-

Ah right! Was wondering if ya had any poker cards around perchance? Had a. . .incident recently that unfortunately lead to most of my extras stash being used up ha ha-
{Spade’s experience grew a little tense upon mentioning that as she subconsciously rubbed her right shoulder.}
You’d be surprised how many of em have gotten dragged around this house honestly.
Poker cards you say? Well then, you've come to the right place!! I've got playing cards in various sizes and art styles- You could say I have them... in spades~

Ah, well- I'll sckrungle up my completed sets and you can have your pick my good patron-
[He hums and starts digging around in his drawer- Lawrence on the other hand... stares a moment. Seeming to pick up that something happened.

Anything will do doesn’t gotta be a complete set. Though I greatly appreciate it of course!
{Whilst Spade watched Jerry search for the cards they couldn’t help but notice Lawrence’s eyes locked on her.}
{She once again tensed up once she noticed turning her attention back to Jerry quickly.}
I’ll assume by the fact you have so many cards on hand you play some card games as well? If you’re ever looking for a second player I’m more than willing to stop by.

Honestly this is an impressive collection you got here Jerry! Hard to come across such a variety not to mention the quality of em!
Better quality than anything I’ve been able to get ahold of in some time…

Ohh no need to flatter me- Most of my collection is just random cards I happen to find, this is a pretty small cluster compared to that-
[Some cards and their boxes were a bit rougher than others, but like he said, all were complete sets-]
Well for a random collection, you’ve gotta good eye for quality! Truly Jerry thanks for letting me take A look through.

Plus anything is better than the burnt- mix-matched set I’ve been working with recently. Mhm, yup just mixed and matched…
{Spade seemed to take a particular interest to two sets deciding to lay the rest carefully to the side nearby. Both to have black and red colour pallets so it’s possible that was her personal preference for her cards.}
Plus the boxes themselves won’t matter much as I only really have a use for the cards themselves. As any cards will just be used to replace ones in my own box.
[Lawrence stares at her again, eyes a bit wide now. Jerry is ever oblivious- he colects the discarded boxes and slips them back into his collection-]

[The drawer said excitedly, welcoming her in. The collection was... sprawling. Cluttered things in piles and in shelves and displays, a very wide variety of things however. To his credit, he kept groupings of the same objects together. Seemed he had some kind of system at least.. and there was art. Things hung on walls, elaborate sculptures, and twinkling lights hung from the ceiling-]

[Jerry just beamed with excitement, so much his lightbulb glowed like a star.]
{Spade carefully followed behind smiling as Jerry cheerfully lead her along. By now she had carefully slide the cards into her pocket and had wrapped her tail around her leg to keep it out of the way.}
Wow. . .honestly not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t this! There so much variety!
{Spade tried her best to get a good look at the artwork plastering the walls as they went along. Though she did stop a lightly chuckle upon noticing Jerry’s lightbulb.}

Of course! The collection hosts all of the most amazing and intresting things I've found over my time here in the house! Each button, scrap of fabric, lost nicknack or gewgaw has a story- And each peice of art is made by hand by yours truely!

Technically you’ve got two options I could tell ya about but. To stay on theme with all the card talk, I’ll stick to the one related to my cards. Honestly from what I know it’s not as common an ability as it should be…

It’s not something I do very often but I am able to take the form of the cards within my current deck. Though uh, heh it’s not something I ever really do on command.
Last time it happened was rather embarrassing honestly-
I would demonstrate but unfortunately I can’t really speak when I’m like that. No mouth ya see.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s easy, I can move around yes. When I’m a card I’ve still got little stick arms and legs don’t ask how that works I honestly can’t tell ya.
Being so small can make getting around a bit of a hassle. . .and make getting stuck a lot easier as well actually.

Apart from that though it’s good for getting around the house!

It’s not something I do very often but I am able to take the form of the cards within my current deck. Though uh, heh it’s not something I ever really do on command.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s easy, I can move around yes. When I’m a card I’ve still got little stick arms and legs don’t ask how that works I honestly can’t tell ya.
Being so small can make getting around a bit of a hassle. . .and make getting stuck a lot easier as well actually.

{Spade seemed to take a particular interest to two sets deciding to lay the rest carefully to the side nearby. Both to have black and red colour pallets so it’s possible that was her personal preference for her cards.}
Plus the boxes themselves won’t matter much as I only really have a use for the cards themselves. As any cards will just be used to replace ones in my own box.

Ohh no need to flatter me- Most of my collection is just random cards I happen to find, this is a pretty small cluster compared to that-

Plus anything is better than the burnt- mix-matched set I’ve been working with recently. Mhm, yup just mixed and matched…
{Spade seemed to take a particular interest to two sets deciding to lay the rest carefully to the side nearby. Both to have black and red colour pallets so it’s possible that was her personal preference for her cards.}
Plus the boxes themselves won’t matter much as I only really have a use for the cards themselves. As any cards will just be used to replace ones in my own box.
