Lucifer appears shortly after, tired, but smiling slightly and drinking what seems to be coffee.

[He softly squeaked in surprise as they both looked like they we're just starting their day... Made him feel a tad guilty...]

Ah- Ahm- Hello again you two, lovely seeing you aswell. I waaas just..

... Truth be told, I was just, hoping you'd be free for a chat. It's been a bit since I'd met new people around the house, and our first meeting was cut quite short, heh..

Lionel looks stunned, turning to Lucifer who just shrugs, so Lionel nods and turns to Jerry.

Lucky for you, our day seems to have just freed up! What’d you wanna talk about Jerry?

Neither seemed to mind, if anything Lionel looked used to being pulled from random situations. Truth be told, he looked happy to have his routine paused.

[Jerry perked up a bit- He was a tad worried before, but relaxed seeing they were fine with this.]

Oh-! Uh- Great! Alright then! Uh let's see...

[He needed to think a moment- He wasn't so good at small talk... just wanted to get to know them.]

Hm... Well, what do you both enjoy doing? Outside of your being demons job- how do you spend your time?

.. Also I notice the little schpeel you gave me about the trinket felt a tad... rehersed- Do you do that alot? To everyone you meet?... do you get called on alot then?

Oh- well I like writing, I also cook a bit, though Lucifer tends to take over cause I burn stuff pretty fast..

He’s better with baking, to be honest. Makes a great cookies and cream cheesecake. I do like cooking as well, but I actually sew.

Lionel giggles, and Lucifer just glares at him.

Even.. if Lionel tends to find that funny, it comes in handy.

At the second question, Lionel looks away, a bit embarrassed.

Uh.. yeah. It’s very rehearsed and.. very used. I used to lie and say “your paragon and embodiment of lust” but…

Lucifer cuts in, putting a hand on Lionel’s shoulder.

It was a lie. He lied because he felt the truth was.. humiliating. The locker IS him, if you can believe it, Jerry. A lot of things happened to make him a demon and work for me and blah blah backstory stuff, but.. you’d be surprised. While he tells everyone the whole thing, I believe you and Mateo are the only two to use it..

Eddie and Volt did!

Right, right, but most people tend to avoid using it. Not sure why, maybe it’s the “be it blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids I’m here to help” bit.

That’s why I don’t say that anymore!!

Lucifer just laughs as Lionel huffs, but then Lionel looks at Jerry.

Don’t worry. I like being called on, makes me feel useful. I don’t care how many people call me, and it hasn’t proven an issue having so many people have a way to contact me… but just as most people leave impressions on those they love emotionally, I.. like to leave one physically too. Pathetic? Sure, it probably is, but I like being able to see who my friends are, cause they have the locket!

You’d be impressed how much this means to him. He actually keeps note of who he’s given lockets to-

Cam, Emmanuel, yeah the paperclip guy, I think I gave one to Tom, Mateo, you, other Jerry, I think Mac has one too-

Huh.. Well that's all lovey- I sew too! Plushies, blankets, pillows- And I embroider, I love doing beadwork. Heh..

[Jerry listened and cocked his head at the second answer.]

[He looked at the locket he still held in his palm.]

So you're kinda an object like me...

Hm- Well happy to know I'm not a bother....I don't think it's pathetic though... maybe it's just me and that I enjoy having pretty things- But I think it's sweet... I like giving gifts to people I'm fond of- A little peice of something I made so people know I care..

He sips his coffee, and Lionel smiles gently.

I wouldn’t say it’s a “kinda” but I get why you would say that.. I still am my object, still have specs and stuff like that, I just.. kinda got stuck on a sidetrack before being pushed back into place. I’m glad you understand where I’m coming from though.

His biggest fear is being forgotten.

Oh come on now that was unnecessary-

Lucifer chuckles, shrugging and finishing his coffee. He looks at Jerry with a small smile.

I’m going to go make some more coffee, would you like some? I can make just about anything, so long as it’s not affogato. Hopefully Lionel won’t talk your ears off while I’m gone.

Lionel just rolls his eyes, snuffling his hands in his pockets as if looking for something.

[Jerry looked to Lucifer and beamed-]

Actually, a coffee with cream sounds lovely right about now-

Lucifer nods, disappearing quickly. Lionel stands for a moment before looking up at Jerry. For an incubus he’s actually quite small (about 5’2).

So.. whatcha wanna talk about?

Seems being this tired has proven useful, he doesn’t automatically have fifteen million things to mention and move on from.

Lionel grins, his demon tail wagging. Suddenly he’s floating again… to meet Jerry’s eyes.

I do! I like making jewelry and stuff, but I did try out making collages and liked it! What about you?

Oh- I do all manner of crafting!! I mentioned my sewing- But I also do sculpture, collages, draw, I'm learning to make custom lights, and a while ago I got high and learned I know how to knit somehow!

Getting high causes some.. fun things to happen. It’s how Lu and I got together, I’m a very emotional person when high and he’s.. actually I don’t think he’s ever gotten high..

Lucifer appears, passing Jerry the coffee he made for him and shaking his head.

I don’t need to get high, no. And you don’t either. Jerry, though, I trust that you know how to take care of yourself.

Mm- certainly sounds fun... last time I was under the influence I knit a scarf that was a good 12 feet long-!

... I'm pretty mellow when high, but if anything ever goes awry, my brother Lawrence is normally there to help. Best he can at least... and all the askers are quite gentle with me aswell- Giving me snacks and pillows and blankets.. and snuggles...

I’ve heard the gummies are more potent anyways. That or they taste better, I forgot- sculpture making is quite neat, and time consuming..

Lionel gasps, looking up at Jerry.

Does this mean some of the trinkets here are hand made by you? That’s so cool!!

[He softly hums, then glances up at Lucifer-]

Ah- depends on the brand really- In my experience the best ones try to complement the flavor rather than try to cover it..

But at any rate- Yes! A good portion of my current collection is of art and things made by me! I started a while ago, when I met the home owner, and... well...

Well it's like a flip switched really. Not just keeping but- making things. Sharing the beauty and use I see in everything.. Thats all I ever really wanted to do..

As long as you know he cares, that’s how I am with Lucifer.. he comes off uh.. brutish to most people who first meet him, the amount of times I’ve had to assure he’s a sweetheart..

Context does matter there- I’m not nice to those who end up in hell, we all know they’re there for a reason. Otherwise I have no reason to be rude to you.

He nods to jerry’s explanation, nodding.

Yes, I’ve had.. many occurrences where someone tries to hide the smell rather than compliment it.. it always ends up smelling worse that way.

Lionel grins at the last part, nodding.

I think you’ve done wonderful! If you’d like, I keep a bag of charms on me that I use for the lockets, but you’re always welcome to come by and grab a few! Lord knows I have too many.

Yeahh, I'd call that a reasonable reason to be unkind to someone..

And I could go on forever about bad tasting gummies- Parker had me try these sour ones once and it was so overpowering I couldn't even have one-

[Jerry shudders unpleasantly at the memory, only to light right back up at Lionel's offer-]

[His bulb glows like a lighthouse with his excitement-]

It’s at least a whole gallon bag of small, maybe 1 inch maximum sized charms. Lucifer stares at it with disdain, as if it had been around a really long time.

Yes, sour flavors can truly make or break a gummy.. I don’t think I’ve had one yet that compliments anything, with or without weed..

[And oh if he was excited before, he was EXSTATIC now!! He eagerly, but still gently, took the bag from Lionel to start sifting through it-]

[He giggles as he examines them each- he does glanced up hearing their banter however.. he giggles.]

I guess it comes with being a locket, the charms just.. appear. Everywhere.

He laughs, and Lucifer just shakes his head with a smile he’s trying to hide.

You do, but moving on, take as many as you like Jerry. He isn’t kidding when he says they just appear, give it a week and there will be a whole new bag. He picks up every little one he sees.

[He giggles, bouncing on his heels as he already finds a few to slip into his pockets- he still listens as he sifts through the collection- softly chuckling-]

Animals areee adorable- My favorite is the giraffe! They just look so tall and cool and have such interesting patterns-

Lucifer shakes his head with a smile, chuckling to himself. As if it were magic (/silly), Lucifer makes a small giraffe toy appear, about 2 inches tall and hand painted.

Here you go, Jerry. If your brother likes any animals I’m willing to make him one as well.

You can learn that later. Also, I hope we’re not overwhelming you. Lionel finds love in giving people things and.. I just follow suit.

Yeah, Lucifer is a quality time sort of guy so he’d be fine if we were all just sitting in silence too. Really weird in my opinion, silence is awkward..

... 'Cept for his sphinx kitten Spoons- I think that's the first animal he's ever liked-

.. I always considered myself a bit of both gift giving and personal time- funnily enough. I love making things for people but.. I also enjoy just showing them around the collection, or doing an activity- very therapeutic...

Ah right! Was wondering if ya had any poker cards around perchance? Had a. . .incident recently that unfortunately lead to most of my extras stash being used up ha ha-

{Spade’s experience grew a little tense upon mentioning that as she subconsciously rubbed her right shoulder.}

{Whilst Spade watched Jerry search for the cards they couldn’t help but notice Lawrence’s eyes locked on her.}

{She once again tensed up once she noticed turning her attention back to Jerry quickly.}

I’ll assume by the fact you have so many cards on hand you play some card games as well? If you’re ever looking for a second player I’m more than willing to stop by.

[As Jerry approached again he gently kicked his brother, carrying an arm full of card boxes-]

I-I know how to play a few games-! Parker taught me...

{Spades eyes sparkled like she was actively looking at a her own personal gold mine.}

Well now THAT is a lovely stack of cards!

{Spade used her tail to scoop up a portion of the pile looking over them all with glee.}

Honestly this is an impressive collection you got here Jerry! Hard to come across such a variety not to mention the quality of em!

Better quality than anything I’ve been able to get ahold of in some time…

Ohh no need to flatter me- Most of my collection is just random cards I happen to find, this is a pretty small cluster compared to that-

[Some cards and their boxes were a bit rougher than others, but like he said, all were complete sets-]

Plus anything is better than the burnt- mix-matched set I’ve been working with recently. Mhm, yup just mixed and matched…

{Spade seemed to take a particular interest to two sets deciding to lay the rest carefully to the side nearby. Both to have black and red colour pallets so it’s possible that was her personal preference for her cards.}

Plus the boxes themselves won’t matter much as I only really have a use for the cards themselves. As any cards will just be used to replace ones in my own box.

[Lawrence stares at her again, eyes a bit wide now. Jerry is ever oblivious- he colects the discarded boxes and slips them back into his collection-]

{Spade sighed glancing at Lawrence tail flicking to the side. Seems she realized he heard her.}

S- speaking of said collection you had mentioned having some random cards as well. If its not to much trouble could I have a look? Not cause I need anything else!

Truly the two I got here is more than enough.

{Spade motioned to the two sets still being held by her tail.}

I’m more so curious to see if any match up with some old sets I used to have. Alongside just wanting to see more of your collection.

[Jerry's eyes absolutely lit up- Lawrence took one look at his brother and sighed.]

I-I would be happy to show you-! Please- Come come-! Oh, do watch your tail though-

[The drawer said excitedly, welcoming her in. The collection was... sprawling. Cluttered things in piles and in shelves and displays, a very wide variety of things however. To his credit, he kept groupings of the same objects together. Seemed he had some kind of system at least.. and there was art. Things hung on walls, elaborate sculptures, and twinkling lights hung from the ceiling-]

[Jerry just beamed with excitement, so much his lightbulb glowed like a star.]

{Spade carefully followed behind smiling as Jerry cheerfully lead her along. By now she had carefully slide the cards into her pocket and had wrapped her tail around her leg to keep it out of the way.}

Wow. . .honestly not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t this! There so much variety!

{Spade tried her best to get a good look at the artwork plastering the walls as they went along. Though she did stop a lightly chuckle upon noticing Jerry’s lightbulb.}

[Lawrence quietly followed behind them. Just... observing... Jerry happily hummed as he lead her along-]

Of course! The collection hosts all of the most amazing and intresting things I've found over my time here in the house! Each button, scrap of fabric, lost nicknack or gewgaw has a story- And each peice of art is made by hand by yours truely!

[He happily rambles as they go around the winding trailes of stuff. Jerry perked up at the comment though-]

C-cute? Ah...

O-oh! The bulb! Heh- It uh... d-dose that- sometimes...

{Spade happily nodded along as Jerry rambled on about his various knickknacks. Though she was also very cautious of where she stepped wanting to make sure she didn’t actually knock anything over.}

The fact you have all that art is amazing Jerry! Seriously it takes a lotta skill, and as for your bulb personally I think it’s rather cool.

Shows just how passionate you are about all this.

Heh, you're too kind.. I've been creating for about a year now.. Probably the best decision I've made-Never seen my bulb glow brighter!

It's.. become a part of me... both the collection and the bulb- The bulb a little more literally though-

[He admitted with a chuckle, then looked over his shoulder at Spade.]

Heh- wow this is uh something I don’t normally talk about but….

Technically you’ve got two options I could tell ya about but. To stay on theme with all the card talk, I’ll stick to the one related to my cards. Honestly from what I know it’s not as common an ability as it should be…

{Spade pulled one of the cards from her hair. Specifically the ace of Spades. Which interestingly seemed slightly charred in the bottom corner.}

It’s not something I do very often but I am able to take the form of the cards within my current deck. Though uh, heh it’s not something I ever really do on command.

Last time it happened was rather embarrassing honestly-

I would demonstrate but unfortunately I can’t really speak when I’m like that. No mouth ya see.

[Jerry repeats, wonder in his voice. Lawrence arches a brow, and that seems to be his only reaction to this information- compared to Jerry's excited bouncing on his heels-]

Oh- How nifty!! T-tell me- are you able to move autonomously as a card? Is it easy to do so??

{Spade was honestly surprised that Jerry was so excited about this little quirk of hers. In Spades eyes it wasn’t anything more than a nuisance.}

Well I wouldn’t say it’s easy, I can move around yes. When I’m a card I’ve still got little stick arms and legs don’t ask how that works I honestly can’t tell ya.

Being so small can make getting around a bit of a hassle. . .and make getting stuck a lot easier as well actually.

{Spade paused for a moment, seemingly thinking of something before continuing on.}

Apart from that though it’s good for getting around the house!

How small would that make you- Like normal card sized? A little bigger? Do you have a consistent pattern or does it change with the card-

{Having said that though Spade didn’t seemed to mind, if her tail carefully swishing from side to side said anything.}

As for your questions. Yes I’m the same size as a regular card in said for and the only consistent details with the card itself I can tell is the fact I’m always a Ace and that it matches my current deck.

Neither seemed to mind, if anything Lionel looked used to being pulled from random situations. Truth be told, he looked happy to have his routine paused.

[Jerry perked up a bit- He was a tad worried before, but relaxed seeing they were fine with this.]

Oh- well I like writing, I also cook a bit, though Lucifer tends to take over cause I burn stuff pretty fast..

He’s better with baking, to be honest. Makes a great cookies and cream cheesecake. I do like cooking as well, but I actually sew.

Lionel giggles, and Lucifer just glares at him.

Even.. if Lionel tends to find that funny, it comes in handy.

At the second question, Lionel looks away, a bit embarrassed.

Uh.. yeah. It’s very rehearsed and.. very used. I used to lie and say “your paragon and embodiment of lust” but…

It was a lie. He lied because he felt the truth was.. humiliating. The locker IS him, if you can believe it, Jerry. A lot of things happened to make him a demon and work for me and blah blah backstory stuff, but.. you’d be surprised. While he tells everyone the whole thing, I believe you and Mateo are the only two to use it..

Right, right, but most people tend to avoid using it. Not sure why, maybe it’s the “be it blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids I’m here to help” bit.

Lucifer just laughs as Lionel huffs, but then Lionel looks at Jerry.

Don’t worry. I like being called on, makes me feel useful. I don’t care how many people call me, and it hasn’t proven an issue having so many people have a way to contact me… but just as most people leave impressions on those they love emotionally, I.. like to leave one physically too. Pathetic? Sure, it probably is, but I like being able to see who my friends are, cause they have the locket!

Oh- I do all manner of crafting!! I mentioned my sewing- But I also do sculpture, collages, draw, I'm learning to make custom lights, and a while ago I got high and learned I know how to knit somehow!

[As they hug, his breathing begins to calm. He gently snuggles into Mateos warm body, absorbing his soothing presence... after a bit, he took a deep breath.]

*Mateo steps back to give Jerry more space, though his warmth lingers. He’s hovering almost like a mama bird, focusing on Jerry’s expressions to be able to assist at a moment’s notice. His warm brown eyes hold no judgement, only care and affection. He gently sets Jerry’s cardigan off to the side once it’s off, so the drawer can better focus on himself (and it gives Jerry a bit of not having Mateo’s eyes on him, however respectful the blanket is).*

[He softly blushed at the praise, making his heart feel warm... He swallowed and kept undressing, removing his vest and button-up shirt. His body was pretty unshaven- hair coating his forearms and chest.. and peaking out from his waistband.. On his back however.. you could see why he struggled with this task.]

[Covered in scratches and soores. Most of them focused on his back, but he had a few on his left arm aswell, likely from his mold incident a while back... he also had a large collection of scars and wounds on both hus shoulders and hips. Though that could be for.. other reasons-]

{Spade seemed to take a particular interest to two sets deciding to lay the rest carefully to the side nearby. Both to have black and red colour pallets so it’s possible that was her personal preference for her cards.}

Plus the boxes themselves won’t matter much as I only really have a use for the cards themselves. As any cards will just be used to replace ones in my own box.

[The drawer said excitedly, welcoming her in. The collection was... sprawling. Cluttered things in piles and in shelves and displays, a very wide variety of things however. To his credit, he kept groupings of the same objects together. Seemed he had some kind of system at least.. and there was art. Things hung on walls, elaborate sculptures, and twinkling lights hung from the ceiling-]

[Jerry just beamed with excitement, so much his lightbulb glowed like a star.]

{Spade carefully followed behind smiling as Jerry cheerfully lead her along. By now she had carefully slide the cards into her pocket and had wrapped her tail around her leg to keep it out of the way.}

Wow. . .honestly not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t this! There so much variety!

{Spade tried her best to get a good look at the artwork plastering the walls as they went along. Though she did stop a lightly chuckle upon noticing Jerry’s lightbulb.}

Of course! The collection hosts all of the most amazing and intresting things I've found over my time here in the house! Each button, scrap of fabric, lost nicknack or gewgaw has a story- And each peice of art is made by hand by yours truely!

[He happily rambles as they go around the winding trailes of stuff. Jerry perked up at the comment though-]

Technically you’ve got two options I could tell ya about but. To stay on theme with all the card talk, I’ll stick to the one related to my cards. Honestly from what I know it’s not as common an ability as it should be…

{Spade pulled one of the cards from her hair. Specifically the ace of Spades. Which interestingly seemed slightly charred in the bottom corner.}

It’s not something I do very often but I am able to take the form of the cards within my current deck. Though uh, heh it’s not something I ever really do on command.

Last time it happened was rather embarrassing honestly-

I would demonstrate but unfortunately I can’t really speak when I’m like that. No mouth ya see.

Well I wouldn’t say it’s easy, I can move around yes. When I’m a card I’ve still got little stick arms and legs don’t ask how that works I honestly can’t tell ya.

Being so small can make getting around a bit of a hassle. . .and make getting stuck a lot easier as well actually.

{Spade paused for a moment, seemingly thinking of something before continuing on.}

Apart from that though it’s good for getting around the house!

Everything’s great! At least, it is now, haha! Spindle here got into the pythorn enclosure and got dirt all in her yarn, so I had to bathe her. We’re all nice and fluffy now though, hm?

*Spindle mews in response, making tiny biscuits on his lap. Mateo spots the things in Jerry’s arms.*

Oh, lo siento- I didn’t mean to interrupt anything! Getting squeaky clean is very important, haha!

*Mateo nods, glancing down to his arms with their scars.*

*Mateo didn’t expect such a tight hug, but he responds quickly, hugging back just as tightly. The blanket man seems to be even warmer without his coat on, softer if that’s even possible. One of his warm hands soothes up and down Jerry’s back as he breathes softly.*

[As they hug, his breathing begins to calm. He gently snuggles into Mateos warm body, absorbing his soothing presence... after a bit, he took a deep breath.]

*Mateo steps back to give Jerry more space, though his warmth lingers. He’s hovering almost like a mama bird, focusing on Jerry’s expressions to be able to assist at a moment’s notice. His warm brown eyes hold no judgement, only care and affection. He gently sets Jerry’s cardigan off to the side once it’s off, so the drawer can better focus on himself (and it gives Jerry a bit of not having Mateo’s eyes on him, however respectful the blanket is).*

[He softly blushed at the praise, making his heart feel warm... He swallowed and kept undressing, removing his vest and button-up shirt. His body was pretty unshaven- hair coating his forearms and chest.. and peaking out from his waistband.. On his back however.. you could see why he struggled with this task.]

[Covered in scratches and soores. Most of them focused on his back, but he had a few on his left arm aswell, likely from his mold incident a while back... he also had a large collection of scars and wounds on both hus shoulders and hips. Though that could be for.. other reasons-]

Oh- well I like writing, I also cook a bit, though Lucifer tends to take over cause I burn stuff pretty fast..

He’s better with baking, to be honest. Makes a great cookies and cream cheesecake. I do like cooking as well, but I actually sew.

It was a lie. He lied because he felt the truth was.. humiliating. The locker IS him, if you can believe it, Jerry. A lot of things happened to make him a demon and work for me and blah blah backstory stuff, but.. you’d be surprised. While he tells everyone the whole thing, I believe you and Mateo are the only two to use it..

Right, right, but most people tend to avoid using it. Not sure why, maybe it’s the “be it blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids I’m here to help” bit.

Don’t worry. I like being called on, makes me feel useful. I don’t care how many people call me, and it hasn’t proven an issue having so many people have a way to contact me… but just as most people leave impressions on those they love emotionally, I.. like to leave one physically too. Pathetic? Sure, it probably is, but I like being able to see who my friends are, cause they have the locket!

You’d be impressed how much this means to him. He actually keeps note of who he’s given lockets to-
