I think sasuke should have been the protagonist of naruto because I think he is a character with a lot of feelings and I think he has the depth to be a really interesting protagonist especially since it's already basically canon I think at this point that he feels a lot since he's from the Uchiha clan which is known for feeling things like love and hate and emotions very deeply and strongly and since he's a character that already feels so much like he buries his emotions and everything he does is an act in the show and we get to see that but we dont see how he's rlly feeling much outside of those episodes about itachi and if theres more I dont remember and then at the very end during vote2 we see what hes been thinking and feeling this entire time and he literally cries like he isnt emotionless or evil like some ppl think hes just a little.. complicated.. and I think he would be an interesting character to see as the protagonist and see him actually achieve his justice and see a change in the shinobi system and in the show he's definitely morally gray I think at times but isn't a BAD character like ppl want him to be or make him out to be and it would be interesting to see a character that does so much be the protagonist because it would completely change shonen game the protagonist isnt some emotionless strong heterosexual man sasuke is an emotional strong teenage (gay) man and it would be so cool to see that as a protagonist of a shonen manga/anime

nah but real talk, some of ya’ll be weird as fuck with your “ss destroyed the ending” or “it destroyed their characters” the heck you mean? sasusaku and the other ships do not exist on their own, so the ship didn’t destroy either sasuke or sakura, but kishimoto did so by executing them poorly, like it’s astonishing to me ya’ll believe had your ships been canon, it would all be sunshine and rainbows, like im sorry to be the one who breaks it to you, but sakura wouldn’t have turned into a magical beautiful heroine haruno blossom of the fist of the flowers had she ended up with naruto or whoever the fuck you ship her with, her writer would still be kishimoto and if he decided long ago for sakura to not have any more relevance, it will stay like that no matter who she marries. same applies to sasuke’s redemption journey or the konoha problem, like no if sasuke had married naruto they wouldnt have taken the government down as kishimoto still decided naruto would become hokage and konoha is good. like take a literal sit ya’ll act as if the characters have a mind of their own instead of being what their writer writes them to be
