Imagine Sasuke being in a really grumpy mood and not wanting to socialize or deal with people, until Naruto calls him on his cell phone, then he can’t resist answering because what can Naruto possibly do to make him feel worst? It’s impossible.

So he answers the phone, and Naruto greets him with a fake fart sound, and Sasuke remembers this is Naruto he’s talking about. Of course he only makes things worse. But a soft smile graces his lips, and he can’t help that giddy feeling he gets when Naruto acts like an idiot because it makes his day a lot better and suddenly he isn’t so grumpy anymore.

i’m fine with believing naruto and sasuke give each other practical gifts for birthdays or holidays. sasuke gets naruto ichiraku coupons or the occasional giftcard to a non-ramen place so that HE doesn’t get bored with their food choices; and naruto gets sasuke subscriptions to ninja magazines, shuriken, kunai, and other various weapons or scrolls sasuke expresses an interest in.

they are perfectly happy with this; they are fine either going out or staying in as long as they’re together; naruto has even learned it’s okay to be quiet during these times they’re sitting in the same room.

they don’t fuss over each other except if naruto eats all of the ice cream or leaves a bunch of hair in the shower drain or never cleans the toilet. sasuke doesn’t mind doing the cleaning and prefers it but he still likes to be able to bitch at naruto even though naruto takes care of all the gardening and landscaping. he’s happy to mow the lawn and plant the flowers and water things and grow veggies so sasuke can make a salad for dinner.

i would read 10 chapters of nothing but a week in the life of this naruto and sasuke doing domestic crap and having conversations about how to fold socks or how naruto reacts when he hears sasuke fart in his sleep.

That night Bakugou dreamt of holding Kirishima like he was his to keep, endlessly and indefinitely - his mind scrambled to find ways to cover the unknown distance between them, his hands curled tight around his sheets to stop themselves from reaching out towards something that wasn’t there, that his lungs missed like clean air through a smoke-filled atmosphere. He longed for Kirishima like a dream he wanted reality, like a possible future he needed to make certain present.

And like with every other one of his impossible desires, Bakugou gritted his teeth, curled back his lips, allowed the smirk to take over his expression. He let his heart beat fast, his whole being buzz, his mind claw at the image of Kirishima wanting him back just as fiercely till it became a solid possibility he could work into reality, if only he tried hard enough, if only he didn’t give up.

“Fuck,” he said, rolling around on his back and pressing the heels of his hands on his eyes till he began to see white, smile still pulling wide at his cheeks, muscles coiled tight.

Having a crush was turning out to be more exhilarating than Bakugou had ever assumed it could be.
