“Well, you know whatever we pick for the movie neither of us are going to watch it. We always get so…distracted…so maybe we should pick something we’ve already seen.”

She leaned in to kiss Vanessa on the lips, slow and sweet. She pulled away gently, Vanessa still playing with her hair.

“You know if you have anything on your mind, you can tell me, right?”

Vanessa couldn’t help but smile as Lilith spoke to her. She melted into the soft kiss and groaned slightly as Lilith pulled away. Vanessa smile slowly faded for a second but she caught herself and tried smiling once more.

“I know, I know…” she spoke as she looked down, “I just….I think it’s a little stupid is all….possibly not even something I should be asking…”

Her voice trailed off and grew soft. She had slipped back into her head and a sense of panic began to fill her body.

“Come on, nothing you could tell me would be stupid. I trust you and I love you, whatever you’re feeling, I’m probably feeling it too. You don’t have to be afraid of me or what you feel.”

It was Lilith’s turn to play with Vanessa’s hair, being as gentle and soft as Vanessa was to her.
