text ✉ evan (erica)
Ava: Alright, but what if I forget about that one night you drunkely decided to wear an onesie and go outside? We had to carry you home. Being stuck in a cabinet for an hour isn't as funny as the thing /you've/ done.
[moments later]
Ava: No, but listen to me. Remember that girl I told you about one time, after we finished our shifts?
Ava: You know how people feel when they really want to say something but they can't, right? That's how I feel right now. Holy shit. She's the wisest, the most beautiful person I have ever met and, hell... I like her. Like a fuckin' lot.
Ava: I just can't even bring myself to tell her about the way I feel because I am afraid that I will only mess everything up. This is the part where I metaphorically throw my hands in the air, flop on the bed and hide my face in the pillow, groaning.
[minutes later]
Ava: I even imagined how would it feel to hold her hand; I am a fuckin' teenager. Fuck.
Ava: Are you free tonight? I feel like you need to talk me out of doing something dumb, Evs.
[ a few minutes of smiling later ]
Erica: And.. what girl are we talking about? I could talk to her for you.
