I just want to say something. I posted this peach drink back on August 26, 2017 not knowing it would go viral. I made a rookie artist mistake by not putting my handle on this, and this unfortunately doesn’t get talked about often enough. I drew digitally to share my art with the world under my name, but as it continued to spread, this post got reposted on so many different avenues of the internet...without my credit. People don’t know where it’s from and to this day, continue to post without credit. I have about 270 followers on Instagram and haven’t gained much from this peach drink illustration, even though “it went viral” on tumblr. I’m glad that people enjoy this work, but I feel bad because I constantly see my work uncredited everyday. If you google “aesthetic peach drink” on Google, it’s the second top listed photo. Every time someone posts without crediting, it’s in some way art theft! That’s not fair to the original artist. I hope everyone remembers to credit other artists’ work, but also, don’t crop out someone’s name or use someone’s work without thinking who to credit for it. Someone in this world probably spent hours working on that one piece to share to the world, and it’s only fair to credit that person. Please help me share so I can get justice back to all the times my work has been shared without my permission or credit. Thank you.
