De plus en plus de forums ont des balises spéciales pour l'aes de leurs rps/fiches, des italiques stylisés et autres effets de style pour habiller leurs écrits. Seulement voilà, retenir toutes les balises et savoir comment les placer, c'est tout un art — que j'admire chez celleux qui y parviennent — et surtout, que je ne maîtrise absolument pas.

Du coup, j'ai préparé un éditeur spécial sur MEGAVERSE pour toujours les avoir sous la main, directement sous l'éditeur par défaut de forumactif, et je me suis dit que ça pourrait profiter à un max de monde 🥹💕

-> Le js est optimisé pour les forums utilisant le blank theme de genius panda ( @code-lab ), pour la bonne et simple raison que c'est sur la base de ce (superbe) thème que mgv a été créé. Bien sûr, je suppose qu'il peut y avoir conflit en fonction d'à quel point un forum a été modifié, à confirmer ! N'hésitez pas à faire vos retours en commentaires -> Le code est directement accessible sur mon github. -> Je ne suis en aucun cas dev ou professionnelle d'une quelconque façon, donc je ne fais pas de maintenance ou ajustements sur-mesure. J'ai tenté de l'annoter au maximum pour aider à le comprendre/customiser, et vous pouvez librement ajuster le code à votre guise ✨ Un simple crédit est apprécié quand vous l'installez sur votre forum ! Tips for Writing Injuries

✧ Broken ribs suck. You don’t just “walk it off.” Breathing hurts. Laughing hurts. Existing hurts. Characters with rib injuries won’t be doing heroic sprints.

✧ Concussions aren’t instant naps. Dazed vision, nausea, dizziness, maybe even personality changes, but they’re not going to collapse neatly like in the movies.

✧ Blood loss is sneaky. It’s not just about dramatic pools of blood. It’s dizziness, confusion, and the body getting cold as circulation tanks.

✧ Adrenaline lies. Someone can take a serious injury and not feel it until the fight’s over. That “I didn’t realize I was bleeding until later” trope? Very real.

✧ Twisted ankles are brutal. One bad step and suddenly running is off the table. Even walking hurts like hell. Perfect way to ground a chase scene.

✧ Burns linger. Even small burns hurt more than most people expect. Blisters, infection risk, constant pain, it’s not just a cool scar later.

✧ Dislocated shoulders = useless arm. Characters can’t keep swinging a sword or firing a gun. They’re basically fighting one-armed until it’s fixed.

✧ Shock is a thing. Pale skin, trembling, rapid heartbeat, and eventually disorientation. A character might not even realize how bad their wound is.

✧ Stitches aren’t magic. Getting sewn up is painful and recovery takes time. They’re not instantly battle-ready after a needle and thread.

✧ Scars tell stories. Some fade, some don’t. Some stay sensitive forever. Don’t forget the aftermath when the wound becomes part of the character.

Writing Tips:

Know why they lie

Every liar has a reason. Is it survival, manipulation, shame, love, power, or habit? Understanding their motive helps you shape their behavior and emotional responses.

Use subtext and contradictions

Liars rarely say "I'm lying." Instead, they contradict themselves, dodge questions, or over-explain. Let their words and actions subtly clash.

Let the lie shape the plot

A good lie should ripple through the story. It creates misunderstandings, false alliances, and dramatic irony. Use it to mislead characters and readers.

Use silence

Sometimes the most powerful lie is omission. What a character doesn’t say can be just as revealing as what they do.

Play with perspective

Use unreliable narrators or shifting POVs to blur the line between truth and fiction. This keeps readers guessing and deepens the mystery.

Show consequences

How are characters reacting to someone lying to them? What happens if people find out a character lied?

Comment je différencie l’affichage de certains champs de profil (sans JS)

On m’a demandé comment je faisais pour personnaliser à ce point les profils avec des champs à l’affichage spécifique, voici donc un petit tuto qui présente la méthode que j’utilise. Je précise que celle-ci n’est peut-être pas la plus optimisée ni la plus simple, mais elle a le mérite de n’utiliser aucun javascript.

Comment je cible un champ de profil en particulier

Dans les pages de profils, les champs ont automatiquement des identifiants précis qu’on peut cibler facilement en CSS. Par exemple dans le template de base de ModernBB :

Vous pouvez donc cibler un champ par son id directement en CSS de cette façon :

#field_id3{ style associé }

Mais cet id n’est pas très parlant, donc à la relecture du CSS c’est pas facile de comprendre quel style correspond à quel champ. C’est aussi impossible de cibler les champs comme cela dans les sujets car, sur ces pages, ils n’ont pas d’identifiant. Voyez plutôt, toujours dans le template de base de ModernBB :

Donc, ce que je fais personnellement, c’est que j’ajoute une image associée au champ, et que j’utilise ensuite la propriété CSS :has() pour cibler les champs qui contiennent cette image. Voici comment faire.

Dans la configuration de votre champ :

Mettez un nom de champ explicite, puis ajoutez une image de votre choix dans la case URL de l’icône. Peu importe l’image elle-même, donc si vous n’en avez pas vous pouvez mettre l’image vide de base de FA, à savoir https://2img.net/i/fa/empty.gif.

Enfin, réglez le Type d’affichage sur Icône + Texte.

Voici ce que ces réglages produisent automatiquement au niveau du code :

Comme vous pouvez le voir, l’image est apparue devant le nom du champ et porte un attribut alt qui a la valeur « Nom du champ ». C’est donc cet attribut que l’on va pouvoir cibler avec :has(). L’url de l’image n’est pas importante du tout.

:has() permet notamment de cibler un bloc si celui-ci contient un élément enfant précis (ici, l’image avec l’attribut souhaité). Dans le CSS, on peut ainsi cibler le champ de profil qui nous intéresse en écrivant :

.block-dl-default:has(img[alt="Nom du champ"]){ style associé }

De cette façon, le nom du champ apparaît dans le CSS, ce qui est plus clair, et vous pouvez cibler de la même manière les champs qui se trouvent dans les sujets.

Si vous voulez bien faire les choses, il ne vous reste plus qu’à masquer l’image que vous avez rajoutée grâce à un display: none, comme ceci :

.block-dl-default img[alt="Nom du champ"]{ display: none }

Comment je fais pour faire des zones différentes dans le profil

Je vous rajoute un encart sur la façon dont je crée des “zones” différentes dans les profils (par exemple, une zone avec les champs de profil qui concernent le perso, et une autre avec ceux qui concernent l’IRL).

C’est bien simple, je multiplie le html plusieurs fois et je cache les champs que je ne veux pas afficher dans chaque zone.

Par exemple, pour deux zones, mon template ressemble à ça :

Et mon CSS à ceci :

De cette façon, je n’utilise pas de JavaScript pour déplacer les champs. Normalement, utiliser display : none permet que les champs masqués ne soient pas lus par les lecteurs d’écran, et le fait de doubler le html n’impacte donc pas l’accessibilité du forum ; mais le JavaScript est sûrement + propre. Je ne sais pas. :>
