I’m rewatching the previous seasons before season 4 comes out, and oh my god, i love this show so much. It feels like a big hug right when you need one the most!

And it reminded me how much i loved these two, both together and on their own. Honestly, i almost believe it could have been real. Two forty-year-old idiots in love. 🥰

I really hope we get to see Trent in Season 4!

“Hey fellas, listen up. Have a little somethin’ to talk about.”

The din in the dressing room quiets, fifteen pairs of eyes turning towards Ted. Ted and him. And without a word, Ted slides his hand into Trent’s. He knows his hand is clammy. Knows there’s very few ways to explain away a touch like this. Trent wraps a hand around Ted’s upper arm to settle himself.

There’s no going back now. Trent a breath catches in his throat and the longer there’s silence, the more Trent’s anxiety ramps. Colin is one thing; head gaffer isn’t. Trent is in mayday mode, trying to figure out what to say.

“That’s it. Pay up boyos.”

What.

Colin’s grinning, hands outstretched.

“Off by one fuckin’ day,” Roy grouses. “You couldn’t have done this yesterday? Once a prick, always a prick.”

And that’s how Ted and Trent came out to the team — without actually needing to come out.
