I think I covered everything in the form itself but just in case:

The deadline is mid-August

OCs shouldn't be the central focus of any submission but there WILL be a few pages dedicated to an OC collage near the end of the zine.

They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

here's some instructions for anyone who doesn't know how to opt out:

login in on desktop, it's not available on mobile yet

click "Account"

click on your blog

go to "Blog Settings"

go to "Visibility"

Scroll down to the bottom option

turn the toggle ON, not off

you will have to do this individually for each sideblog you have too, no way to do it for each account in one go

Was chatting with some friends on the Mighty Ducks Animated Series discord and one of them inspired me with the brilliant idea of Grin trying to help my boy Menor clear his distraught little mind.

So I drew a thing heavily referencing "Here Comes A Thought" from Steven Universe. I was going through a rough patch mentally so the whole project was very therapeutic.

Shout out to @mari-lwyd for inspiring the idea and writing Grin so well in fanfics.

Also dedicating it to my dad, who was my own Grin. <3

27 Years ago I found the team by my mom suggesting I check out what Disney was show casing that night. The impact was instant, as was my attachment to the team. Somehow I knew was watching something special. Something that sparked the fire in me to create.

Through the show I found a character that has been a part of me ever since. Duke is, and will always be, my favorite thief. His and Heart's relationship across universes is something I still love to reflect on and write. How elements differ, and what remains, no matter the story. Their trust in one another being the core of their connection. So today, I chose to celebrate that by showing them across universes.
