The girl grinned before letting out a chuckle.  “Is that a promise that you won’t get mad at me if I do then?”

The younger girl glared at him. “Careful cousin, you are close to becoming my least favorite.”

— ✴ “ you wouldn’t, ” regulus plastered a devastated expression onto his face. “ how cruel. ”

There was a wide smile that spread across her lips. “You sure you want to? I’ve been known to become rather agitated with my potions partner.”

— ✴ “ well if i do something stupid, feel free to yell at me, ” regulus shrugged.

narcissa.

(¸.• ♛ → “Maybe…” But she didn’t know if her parents would be okay with that, the blonde looked at the other one. “Yeah? In what house are you going to stay?”

— ✴ regulus shrugged. he wasn’t really sure, and he wasn’t sure he’d stay elsewhere if his parents didn’t actually send him away. “ depends on my parents, most likely. ”

andromeda.

Andromeda raised an eyebrow and nodded. “As that’s when they’re starting out in Quidditch, they shouldn’t be touching much.” She commented and looked back at Regulus. “I don’t think so. Someone’s going to see it flying around. We’re going to have to get it. Last thing we need is points taken from the house.”

— ✴ regulus shrugged, “ i think they want them to learn, but if that’s the case, then the second years should be the ones who go after the snitch. ” regulus sighed, “ of course, they’d never catch it. i suppose we’ll have to go after it, then. any ideas ? i don’t particularly fancy running through the halls like an idiot, but i don’t think the professors will be thrilled if we fly. ”

A blush spread across the witch’s cheeks as she smiled. Em was at a loss for words. Everything was so different then it had been the past few years, so much so that she wasn’t sure if she was dreaming or not.

— ✴ regulus chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and kissing the top of her head, “ we should go to dinner soon, ” he mused. “ maybe ask slughorn if we can be partners. ”

Tessa crinkled her nose, pushing Regulus away softly as she did.  “Elder but not superior, cousin.”

— ✴ “ of course i’m superior. i’m fantastic. ”

narcissa.

(¸.• ♛ → “Good.” Because she didn’t want or well, need anyone to push her to talk about something that she actually didn’t want to, even if she does trust her cousin, talking about this she just couldn’t. “I’m fine, I mean, actually, being here is always good, I don’t really want to go back home at this point.”

— ✴ “ perhaps you could go on vacation or spend the summer with a friend, ” regulus suggested. “ i’m probably going to be doing that. ”

andromeda.

Andromeda was running late to a tutoring session she was doing with some fourth year which led her to be running down the corridors of Hogwarts. As she rounded a corner, she ended up running into someone; knocking the Quidditch trunk out of their hands. The trunk opened and while the Bludgers stayed put, thank Salazar, the Snitch took off down the hall and Andromeda’s eyes went wide. “Oh, bloody hell.” She watched as the golden object flew down the corridor and she scrambled to chase it. “This is exactly why I don’t play Quidditch.”

— ✴ regulus grunted when andromeda ran into him, groaning when the trunk burst open and the snitch flew off. he glared after it, shaking his head. “ of course i would have the trunk packed by one of the second years who forgot to strap down the snitch, ” he groaned, looking at his cousin, “ do you think i can get away with just leaving it... ? ”

The witch purred as she moved closer to the boy. “I have a feeling that you might”, there was a devilish grin on her face. “Especially if I was your partner.”

— ✴ regulus grinned, “ if you go out of your way to distract me from making the potion, i think you ought to also take the blame for anything that might go wrong, ” he replied. “ plus, if you’re my partner, even more reason to avoid blowing up any cauldrons. ”

“I’ve still got money on you blowing up a cauldron at least once before we graduate.”

(¸.• ♛ → “You are, I just wasn’t expecting you.” She admitted now looking at the other one. “And don’t worry about this, is just nothing…” The blonde said with a small shrug.

— ✴ “ i suppose i’ll have to believe you, ” regulus teased, settling beside her. “ just nothing ? of course, that’s why it was on fire, ” he nodded. “ but i won’t push if you insist, ” he shrugged. “ are you okay, though ? ”

“I don’t know if it’s that bad. Things can always be worse.”

— ✴ “ i suppose you’re right. but it’s the principle of it, you know ? why say they’ll do something if they don’t intend to ?? ”

“Hmmm”, she purred. “I’m not so sure. I’ve seen you in potions, you get a little too eager for the end result.”

— ✴ “ yes, but i’m also excelling and i’ve yet to blow up a cauldron, ” he shrugged.

She grinned, but it was disrupted when his lips found hers again. Her arms hung around his lips while Emily lingered in the kiss. Again she broke away, this time leaving her head pressed against his forehead as she spoke. “Really, no hiding? At all?”

— ✴ regulus smiled, stroking his thumb along her cheek, “ yes, no hiding, ” reg gave a slight nod, pulling her closer to him. “ a promise is a promise. ”

(¸.• ♛ → “Do you need something?” She didn’t realize someone was there, the girl was just too busy burning the note that she recieved from her parents that honestly she didn’t notice someone was just there.

— ✴ “ well, i was curious about the burning note, but am i not allowed to come say hello to my cousin without any ulterior motives ? ” regulus asked.
