Hi guys. My John blog, batttlehardened is broken right now (and it’ll probably take about a month for it to come back up, seeing as that’s how long it took my original Khan blog to be fixed). Also I’m sorting out my Khan blogs at the moment (the new one broke and I planned to move to the new one, so now I’m going back to the old one and generally, it’s just a big mess right now). I’ll be on Deano probably at some point.

Camael taunts him and chuckles softly and tugs his hands out his pockets. He quirks his mouth a bit and attempts to be thinking of something. Hm, what was the right way to demand someone’s compliance? He was pretty sure that there was no right way of asking or demanding it, but he’ll try anyways. Despite how he’s currently forcing Dean to talk to him.
❝My name is Camael. I’m Zachariah’s superior; an archangel. I actually— was the one who was assigned to kill him if he didn’t get you to agree to be Michael’s vessel. But, I can see why he struggled so much with you. You’re a tough nut to crack.❞
His expression grew s e r i o u s once again and he approached him further. He guessed that the hunter was smart enough– or he was hoping, at least– to figure out what the reason Camael was here for— Zachariah’s failure. Zachariah couldn’t get near Dean because of Castiel; well, Camael would just like to see the LITTLE angel try and stop him.
‘Archangel’ makes him pause. That fire-born tongue of his, complete with all the heated words that would have displayed a lack of love for the winged creatures, found itself silenced and unable to speak. That put everything in a new light. He’s seen just how nasty these archangel guys can be. Contempt still swirls brightly in his green hues, but now there’s another aspect crouching deep within those depths: fear. Typical angels, he can handle just fine, but these guys are far bigger, stronger. There is fire and then there is lightning, and mere humans stand no chance against the latter. (Well, maybe he does. Dean always found a way, but right now he’s in a bit of a ... difficult situation. He’s got a plan ... maybe. He’ll get back to you on that.) Dean’s jaw works, clenching, unclenching. Lips form silent syllables that are not coherent, and then he finally finds his ability to speak. Lungs inflate with air this time, true, but when he responds his voice is subdued, quiet: ❝ I suppose you’re next in line to try and get me to say it?❞ News flash: he’s not going to say it.
let's do a weird headcanon thing.
1. what they smell like: leather and gun lubricant, with a hint of the forest. 2. how they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): literally sprawled all over the bed. erratic sleeping schedule due to the job. he sleeps very lightly, with a weapon close at hand in case something comes in during the middle of the night. 3. what music they enjoy: rock, esp. the oldies. black sabbath and metallica are great. motley crue, beatles, kansas (but leftoverture is the only good album), boston, foreigner, judas priest. he’ll listen to some of the newer stuff, but is picky about it. 4. how much time they spend getting ready every morning: not that long. give him a 20 minute shower at the most and a little bit of time to shave and get dressed, then he’s good to go. 5. their favorite thing to collect: he doesn’t really collect anything (or do weapons count? naaaaah) but if he did, it’d be cassette tapes and vinyl albums. 6. left or right-handed: right. 7. religion (if any): no. 8. favorite sport: dodgeball. heh. 9. favorite touristy thing to do when traveling: eat at all the diners. all the diners. 10. favorite kind of weather: when the sun’s out. generally bad things don’t happen during the day. 11. a weird/obscure fear they have: ...definitely not cats. 12. the carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: for carnival games, he’s good when it comes to things like throwing rings on bottles, archery competitions, etc. never really hung out at the arcade.

He’s taking a quiet step forwards; contemptuous smirk curling up one side of his face at the sheer conviction with which his vessel spoke. “–it’s amusing, how sure you are of yourself.” Michael takes a few steps forwards; the archangel quietly radiating authority as he is wont to do, even in the slouching form of the young John Winchester. Chin high and quiet smirk still remaining on his face, he reaches out, adjusting the folds in his vessel’s jacket, smoothing them quietly before running his knuckles down the frame of Dean’s cheek. “And tell me, then– why shouldn’t I?” He pauses, then his head tips curiously. “Better yet– why do you care? You don’t know any of them. And so often, it is when you try and save people that they die.” He smooths down the side of Dean’s hair with the pad of his thumb. “I’m actually curious as to how you plan on saving them.”
It’s almost all he can do to keep his entire body from shaking like a leaf before a storm. Michael’s suave exterior (the skin of his father!) further unnerves Dean, but he is loathe to back down. When the angel comes forth, the hunter remained rooted to the spot. He refuses to move is unsure if he could move and, despite the anxious prickling beneath his human skin, his chin lifts defiantly. His jaw clenches beneath the fingers of the archangel, emerald eyes ablaze with something akin to hatred, fear, awe. “ Telling you would defeat the purpose.”

A cocked eye was Nyx’s only response. Sure, some of the weapons in the trunk were impressive, but they were prototypes. If trying to figure one of them out got him injured, well…she wasn’t liable. Besides, not all of them were designed to be used against humans. Taking a step back, Nyx gave Dean a bit of space to check out anything in the trunk he wanted. Just don’t break anything.
Well, he (or maybe she it was difficult to tell, but Dean was inclined to believe the other to be a he) didn’t speak much. The lack of an answer was something he caught immediately, but he did not address it. Information was attained by allowing events to unfold just as easily as it was when forced upon such as every other time he donned a fancy suit and flashed an FBI badge around. Instead of questioning the silence, Dean poked around in the trunk and examined the weapons with more than mild interest. Just where’d this guy get all of this stuff? And that’s when he picked up a rather interesting-looking thing.
