Sapphire De’Noire was born into the world on December 26th,1986 in the city of Greenwich,London. She was born at the local hospital as the youngest of the De’Noire family. She had an older brother Will and elder sister,Ruby. After her birth,the family seemed to be close for a bit of time. During Saph’s childhood,she grew very close to her siblings and often found them as her idols. But it was during her time as a child that she noticed the family was starting to crumple. Their parents always fought and fought each other. Saph often had to hear it at night when she was supposed to be asleep. Often,she would go to her sister’s room and stay with her because the fighting scared her. Finally the fighting took it’s toil because only a few days after Saph’s twelfth birthday, Mother De’Noire filed for divorce. The children were given the choice on whom they wanted to live with. The eldest daughters chose their mother. Will chose the father. Saph though was always the one who was so optimistic to keep her relationship with her father.
Over the years,Saph found that harder and harder with how much he distanced from her. So Saph found that closeness that she missed with her mother and sister. There was not much to say about Sapphire’s school life. She just went to school like a good girl and learned like she should. She did end up dealing with a few bullies but didn’t really let that phase her. It was up until the time that Saph had passed grade school and the usual studies up until college that she really hadn’t decided what to do with her life. She was left to care for her mother when Ruby went off to college in Paris. Saph tried to remain close to her father but that wasn’t to be because upon her eighteenth birthday,he wrote Saph a letter saying he never wanted to see her again. Even so far was writing a few things that hurt her. Saph felt so hurt as she had been willing to get to know her father….but he hurt her. Shoved her out of his life. She had been so open to trust him and he literally crushed her heart.
But her mother did everything to open her heart. To cheer her up,her mother started giving her art lessons. (Her mother had been a local artist when she was younger.) Saph found more joy in this art than anything in the world. But it was when she turned eighteen,something unique happened. Sapphire finally gained her magical ability that her mother and sisters had. Her mother had explained that the De’Noire women had the same magic and her mother taught her everything she knew….
Except how to control it.
Her mother had gotten sick before that happened. Breast cancer had gone to hurt her mother. She had always ignored the signs as to not worry her daughters. But Sapphire deticated every moment to helping her mother while Ruby was in college. Even so hard as to try and heal her mother. But her mother told her to save her energy and to live her life. It turned out to be her mother’s dying wish as she died not a day later. Saph however was left to bury her mother alone. But she didn’t take her mother’s advice and toss it away.
After her sister came home to take care of their mother’s affects,Saph went on to a local art school where she took a few years to study more art. On the side,she had been practicing how to control her magic. By the time she turned twenty three,she had gotten some success to being a local painter. But the local success brought her father back into her life. He attempted to gain from her fame and tried to make up for things past.
But this was a farce as the real ploy was that her father found out about her magic somehow and managed to try and take her to a witch hunting clan to try and have her burned. Luckily Saph knew quite a few fighting to get out of that situation. So she ran and ran fast. But she knew while in London she wouldn’t be safe. So she ran to the United States. For two years she had been traveling from state to state until finally finding a place to stay but she has always been painting. But she’s been looking to make a career change. Considering since her unstable magic has been getting more and more worse over the years…it was only a matter of time before something bad happened.
