MAXIM Gamer Girl Dawn Calderon

This is Dawn, a 24 year old comic book loving, gamer girl/tom boy and proud of it. She is entered into Maxim's Gamer Girl contest: http://maximgamergirl.com/duskimp. She's been playing video games since day one. Owning the original Nintendo, the N64, Wii, Playstation, PS2, PS3, PSP, Nintendo DS, and 3DS. Her favorite comics being Ultimate Spider-Man, Deadpool and ATM Avengers vs X-Men. She even works at her local game stop sharing her knowledge and love of gaming with other gamers and parents and started the video game club at my college. Her favorite video games are Transformers War for Cybertron, God of War, Legend of Zelda, BlazBlue and Final Fantasy 9. She enjoys a variety of games such as racing, RPG, FPS, fighting, etc. She loves how different and unique each game is; in one game you can be a knight, In another, you're an assassin. She finds the journeys are also fun and exciting. Mostly playing for fun, but will gladly compete. The best feeling for her is when guys see her play and play well in games. Specially when she gets to kick their asses in them. It's a bit sad when they can't even admit that they lost to her. She wants to represent what being a gamer girl is really all about. Which having fun no matter what (boys don't get all the fun), being passionate about games, and not being afraid to show it.
