What I like most about my essay is taking everything that I’ve learned throughout the semester regarding content and structure within most of my writing pieces, honing what I’ve learned and being able to apply it to this essay. To me, it feels like I’m tying everything that my brain managed to soak up over the course and putting it all into one final piece.

What I enjoyed most with my learning is the multimodal elements in an essay as well as the design structure throughout my writing. With learning how to include these elements and design structure, I felt it really built what message I was trying to relay in the majority of my writing. A lot of instances where I’d write for classes I’d use data or research I find online and write about it but with this class specifically, I felt as though the majority of what I wrote was authentic and meaningful.

The most proud I am with my writing process is my ability to revise and design my essay to be written in a way I like for my viewer/audience to see. I’ve noticed throughout the semester that my writing process has greatly developed to use vernacular in which I wouldn’t catch myself using years ago, say, if I had been in high school or even during my first few years attending Millersville. Asking for help from my peers and professionals has also really helped me understand where I struggle with most of my writing and where to improve.

A lot of our essays involved multimodal elements and design to help add style, should I continue designing it the same as I did before with this final essay? Also, how can I effectively structure my web content learning essay to showcase my understanding of key concepts, analysis of data patterns, and insights into the impact of content creation through web spaces?

I don’t have much of a history watching shows nowadays that got canceled but I do know of certain shows that got canceled when I was a child. There was this popular Nicktoons show I always remember watching during late nights on weekends called Invader Zim which was a show where an alien named Zim from a planet named is sent on a secret mission to conquer Earth, not realizing that his leaders were just trying to get rid of him and hoped that he would die. I thought this show was entirely too funny and actually had a lot of success starting off but I was so upset to see it get canceled for having poor ratings!

A section of my Design Project I’d like to share is my response as the executives of the series. I’d like to know if anyone thinks this has been answered in a professional manner? I noticed that there were a few that were the same and figured I’d use what I usually see on social media between angry fans and executives of a show. A favorite series of mine was the Mandalorian. Although the series hadn’t been canceled I use this as one of my examples in understanding ways in which the audience reacts to things that happen within the series as well as continuations. For instance, I’ve seen that a lot of individuals disliked the idea of a continuation because they felt as though the protagonist of the original series was being glorified way too much and would prefer if the series just had a continuation of him himself rather than introducing an older character of the Star Wars franchise and making a series out of him.

I will use a quote from my HWTG as a tweet: “2. Crafting Compelling Content: Develop a content strategy that aligns with your audience's interests and your personal brand. creation.” To give context, I chose to speak about a horror asymmetrical game called Dead By Daylight where this is one of the steps I offer for the content creators to follow. Should there be other things I should focus on with this step or should this be the main focus with nothing else added.

Content creation went well. I used what the content creators were already doing to be successful with how I’d publish content if I were to do so. I referred to their ideas and built off of it further in what I believe would be more engaging not only for themselves but their audience included. I’ve also used my HWTG to create the type of content I think would benefit their content even further.

A tip I’m using for my HWTG is starting off my brainstorming with bullet points. This really helps me gather my ideas into different segments of my guide. With the ideas that I’ve written down first, I later used them to help build the steps I will be explaining in my guide for content creators to follow. After briefly breaking down the strategies for my specific group of content creators, I include a conclusion that further sums up what is being discussed and keeps the reader navigated in a way.

For the revision process, how would I break down the process of the HWTG so that it is easier for my audience/creators to read? Should I break it off into bullet points and subheadings or should I include steps in numerical order for them to follow. I also plan on using the same background I’ve used for my Content Analysis essay as far as its design would go since I think it would be a key element in bringing in the content creators. What other design elements should I focus on with the guide? I’m not sure if it should be strictly a guide or if I should include minimal pictures like I had done with the Content Analysis essay.

I am thinking of using the same style as I did with the content analysis multimodal essay. Also, I am looking to other content creators for any small note documents, pdfs, etc. to see what they may do whenever they want to address their audience about a simple topic. I figured if I make it short but sweet with enough information tailored to the subject I chose to discuss then it will be an ideal How To Write guide. As of right now, a step-by-step process on how my content creators should go about continuing to tailor their content to audiences would really be interesting to see.
