As light from the Moon travels to us, it passes through layers of air with different temperatures and pressures. These layers act like moving lenses, bending the light and creating the ripples you see in the footage. Astronomers call this turbulence "seeing"—when the air is still, the image is sharp; when it’s turbulent, the Moon looks like it’s underwater.

Ultimately, this shimmer is a beautiful reminder that we are viewing the vastness of space through the living, breathing lens of our own planet.

Okay but this is actually insane to me

we went from dead cells getting a castlevania dlc — which already felt like a perfect match — to konami straight up trusting evil empire with a FULL castlevania game???

like genuinely we could not have asked for a better studio for this

dead cells already proved they understand EVERYTHING that makes castlevania work — the combat, the movement, the atmosphere, the whole gothic vibe — it just fits so naturally

and now they’re making an actual new entry in the series???

that pipeline from “collab dlc” to “here take the franchise” is actually crazy

i don’t even care how early it is, i’m already hyped beyond reason for this
