Kropotkin wrote a popular science book about the role of mutual aid in evolution (the subtitle "*A* factor of evolution" is important; he knew it was one factor among many). He also pointed out that many aspects of past and present life already tend in an anarchistic, communistic direction.
Somehow these two things have been completely misinterpreted to the point many people believe Kropotkin thought anarchy would be achieved by gradual evolution from current tendencies and mutual aid. This is extremely wrong - Kropotkin was a revolutionist who believed in class war.
the yearning is reaching never before theorized levels
Look, it's simple. If a person has to actively work to make money, they're not "the rich" and they're not the problem. A surgeon making $200k a year still stops making money if they stop showing up to do surgery, because they're still selling their labor. The radical discrepancies in how we value different skills are certainly a problem, but the guy who makes money when he doesn't even get out of bed is the one making money on the value of other people's labor.
OP is making a really great point, but I see people misunderstanding because it’s simplified for a wider audience. SO…
There’s a pamphlet by the influential social anarchist and theorist, Kropotkin, called Appeal to the Youth (or Appeal to the Young in some translations) that addresses this really well with regard to what in modern day we call the “professional class” - skilled labor through higher education essentially - these are the clinicians, the engineers, the teachers, etc.
The breakdown is this:
Educated professionals still must sell their labor and are protected from the worst of exploitation through the necessity of their roles and their education (making them harder to easily replace and exploit than say a factory or agricultural laborer - for Kropotkin, this was the peasant class in tsarist Russia), but are still subject to some degree of exploitation at the hands of capitalists.
So in a modern day example - doctors and nurses who are asked to work dangerous, long hours in understaffed hospitals who are punished for striking over patient safety and labor conditions. If they quit their job, they lose their health and dental insurance which incentivizes them to stick out poor working conditions. And there’s the ever present threat of being replaced by short term contract staff.
Additionally, Kropotkin argues that the educated youth often pursue these fields because they genuinely believe in their underlying philosophies and because they want to improve society. The doctor wants to heal sickness. The architect wants to improve infrastructure. The teacher wants to educate.
But by virtue of living under capitalism, when they leave the ivory tower of education and begin working, it becomes clear that their field’s values are fundamentally incompatible with the reality of capitalism. The doctor sees that people become sick because they live in poor conditions, don’t have healthy food, etc. The architect is asked to cut corners and sees that the people who work in construction of their buildings are mistreated and don’t actually have access to the infrastructure they helped build. The teacher realizes that poorer and disadvantaged students are systematically denied education and class mobility.
He posits that when educated professionals experience this ideological crisis, the solution is align with lower wage laborers who have already begun organizing and agitating. And to assist them in dismantling the systems at the root of the problems they identified in their daily work.
i actually don't have a casual bone in my body

Femme trying to keep herself quiet in the private bathroom while I rail her tight cunt after she was being such a bad little girl during our dinner date. Covering up her mouth with my hand and whispering in her ear that this is what happens when you’re not a good little girl out at dinner with me. My fingers would be stretching her out so good that I would slip three in occasionally to cause her more suffering.
