Transits: Entering a new relationship, reunion with an old partner, marriage or commitments
With St. Valentine's Day coming up, I have received many questions connected with love, entering new relationships and commitment in a partnership, so I have decided to make this post and include in it some of the transits that can be directly related to this topic.
Transit Venus over your 7th House
The planet of love being over the house of committed relationships and marriage can be the best sign of starting a new relationship. It may be one that starts with the intention of commitment (marriage) or one that ends up being committed regardless of the beginnings.
Transit Venus over the 5th House
This can show a period with more focus on your dating life - more romantic advnetures, meeting potential partners. It can show the dating period before the actual time of commitment (7th House).
Transit Venus- natal Saturn/Transit Saturn- natal Venus conjunction
In many cases, this can be a sign of marriage or entering a relationship with the intention of commitment. It can be interpreted as settling down. It can also show working on a relationship, putting effort on a relationship. It can show a reunion with a previous partner in which both people are willing to do better this time.
Transit Venus trine natal Saturn/Transit Saturn trine natal Venus
This can also be a sign of commitment, entering a new romantic relationship with the intention of commitment. But compared to the conjunction or a square between the two planets, this will feel easier - it won't be something that will need perfecting, it can already feel perfect.
Transit Venus conjunct natal Uranus/Transit Uranus conjunct natal Venus.
This can show a new romantic relationship that can happen very quickly. It can be a sign of someone from the past coming back. It can show something unexpected happening in your romantic life.
Transit Uranus over the 5th or 7th House
Over the 5th House, this can show entering a relationship with someone you least expected. It can show meeting new people, going out of your comfort zone when it comes to dating, experimenting more. It can also show chaos in your romantic life.
Over the 7th House, this can show chaos in a marriage or a serious romantic relationship - an on/off period of the relationship. It can show eloping or marrying someone in a less traditional way. It can also show opening up a relationship. It can also be interpreted as fast commitment/meeting someone and becoming devoted to each other quite fast.
Transit Saturn over the 5th or 7th House
Saturn over the 5th can be a sign of a casual relationship becoming more serious. It can show devoting more time to a relationship. It can also be a sign of taking a break from the dating scene. It can show romantic struggles, sometimes suffering or insecurities connected to dating.
Over the 7th House, this can be a sign of a big romantic commitment or step in a relationship (engagement, marriage, moving in together it finally deciding that this will be endgame). It can show willing to put effort into a relationship - more work, it will feel mutual because the 7th house is very reflective. In some cases, this can show marital problems, a time in which there are issues with control in the relationship.
Transit Neptune - natal Venus aspects (trine, conjunction, sextile) OR Transit Neptune over the 5th or 7th House can be a sign of falling in love, developing feelings for someone, romanticizing someone in your life. It can show a lot of romantic fantasies and daydreaming.
Mars over the 5th House can show a more active dating life, meeting new people, pursuing people romantically.
Transit Pluto trine or conjunct natal Venus can be a sign of developing intense romantic feelings for someone, wanting to get to know someone, being intrigued by someone.
Transit Neptune or Venus over your 1st House can be a time when you receive more direct romantic attention from others, when you get pursued by others, others may be more attracted to you during this time.
Jupiter over the 5th or 7th can also indicate romantic luck, a lucky period in your love life, but it isn't always directly related to commitment. It can be connected to the growth of a relationship, a happy period in a relationship you have.
Vertex aspecting your natal Venus can be a big sign of any major changes happening in your romantic life, but it could mean both positive and/or negative.
Node over the 5th or 7th can show a time where you might develop a very meaningful, very purposeful romantic relationship, one that has potential for growth.
