A couple of highlights from the other roll I developed the other day. This one was taken on my trip to the Smoky Mountains last March, and features my ex-girlfriend because of that. Probably shouldn’t have taken her with me, but that’s a story for another time. I still like this photo of her, though. Just looks neat.

This roll also got slightly exposed while I was trying to load it into the developing tank, hence the ghostly haze on some of the pics.

Hey! I don’t use this blog enough! But I’m hoping to use it more. I got a scanner tonight and successfully developed two rolls of film the other day, so here’s hoping this is the beginning of a new era of photography for me!

WELL. How fitting it is that the last photo for this challenge is uploaded late (even though I took it on December 31. I’m only kind of cheating).

2018 has been a long year for a lot of reasons. But it was also a good year for a lot of reasons as well! I’m trying to work on focusing on negatives less. This challenge is something that weighed heavily on my mind at times (only when I was behind, really), but I still think it was a great experience. Even if all the photos aren’t ~masterpieces~, and even if a lot of them were late, each day for this year has a photo to correspond to it, and I think that’s pretty neat. I don’t think I’ll be doing anything like this for 2019, but I’m not gonna let this blog sit inactive anymore. I got some photo chemicals and a tripod for Christmas, so I think it’s safe to say I’m back into photography for better or for worse. Let’s just hope that I can find time to actually take photos with what my schedule is gonna be like this semester. 😬

Anyway. Thanks to everyone who followed along, or even just looked at my photos once or twice. I’m ringing in 2019 the same way I spent 2018: blurry and surrounded by my best friends.
