In 2001, Barry Bonds hit 73 home runs in 476 at-bats. He was walked 177 times, and hit by 9 pitches. If those had been 186 more at-bats, Barry Bonds would have hit 101 home runs that year. 101 home runs. In one season.

Also, for the record, this is just a way for me to write about how RIDICULOUS it is that Barry Bonds isn't in the Baseball Hall of Fame. And to share some of my favorite memories of our dying pasttime: Baseball.
