Very close to reaching the halfway mark, but I'm at another mental block of what sonic even does to get there. Cuz the song reaches this climax in the instrumentation, and ik what I wanna do after it, but idk what to do for it. This is the first time I've ever tried doing high-action scenes, so I'm stumped on how to make it engaging.

Edit: For any new folks who may see this as I start posting my art again, firstly, welcome. Sorry you came during a rough part of my life. This post basically describes where I've been mentally for the past few years if you decide to read it. By all means, I'm on the way to getting better, it's just been slow and difficult. I'm determined tho, so we'll get there.

Idk who'll see this since I've been away for so long, but I feel it's finally time for an update. The long short is: I've haven't been doing well these past few years, and I'm still not that great, but I'm hoping this year things will finally turn around for me.
I have both a full-time and freelance job that leaves me exhausted and with very little free time, and unfortunately, quitting the full-time job isn't on the table yet due to health insurance.
I'm hoping I can actually start making a living off my art soon, but I'm afraid that in my absence, no one will be interested in commissioning me or joining my (WIP) patreon, because I haven't shown any new work.
Regardless, I'm trying to create again. Thank you for your patience.

So, I'm not gonna sugar coat it, I've been grappling with suicidality for a while now. Like, it's been a looming thought and is nothing new, but the past few years have made it very challenging to not act upon it. In addition to all the global events, I've experienced a lot of personal loss as well: relationships, family, material possessions, and financial stability. Any attempt to improve my life seems to quickly get undone, or a new major problem appears. It feels nonstop.
I also hate my full-time job. I love the folks I work with, but it is so draining; my wrists are the worst they've ever been, and I feel I'm just barely treading water in avoiding needing surgery. Despite being a considerably creative job, it's towards smth I'm simply not passionate about, and I barely feel any fulfillment from it. My freelance job is more relevant to my desired career (<- lol what's that), but I simply do not receive enough work from it, and there's no full-time position or insurance for it (yet, allegedly).
I've been in art therapy for little over a year now, but I've only now been able to really draw again. It's no fault of the therapist of course, but during that time, it became apparent that I'd truly forgotten what it felt like to draw for myself, and for much longer than just these past few years. I attempted to "comeback" several times, but I was simply too burnt-out. Eventually, I'd found myself handling an e-stalking situation (it's more complicated than just that, but I'd like to not go into more detail, thanks) that resulted in me deleting my personal blog and privating my accounts across other sites. I even had to password protect my portfolio site.
Overall, I'm just trying to improve my life, cuz I'm so sick and tired of being miserable and barely having a say in how my own life's going. Obviously, there are ppl out there who have it much worse than me, and I'm not tryna downplay any of that. I just want to feel some form of stability on my end cuz I feel I'd be able to handle this shit better; otherwise, I'm just crashing out over every little thing.

I promise it's not personal, I'm just at a point where I feel the need to be very private about my life and just make these kinds of decisions without constantly going thru 101 hesitations.
