It quite literally is misogyny to center men as the focus of a problem between women. Whether it is intentional or not when you pit two women against each other because of a man and you paint one woman out to be a jealous because of a man that is absolutely a misogynistic stereotype.

Just because it isn’t as blatant as derek f saying he wants all the women out or policing women’s clothing. In fact that’s how most misogyny operates, it’s subtle little things. It’s how we speak about women and portray women especially in relation to the men around those women.

If it hit a nerve with you that much maybe you have some implicit biases to examine, so go do that instead of being reactionary in my inbox ❤️
