some lore for my wings of fire au; this takes place post war, 50 years later where certain hybrids are super common, sandwing and icewing hybrids being one of them!
between the two deserts of ice and sand theres a village that has been growing slowly and steadily shared between icewings and sandwings, and multiple dragons pass through. that's where lavender is from! it's starting to be considered a city, but there's actually several other cities that grew up from the ground
do you have a beetlewing design in mind? And also your art style is so cool.

Bell but its just a nickname, not her real name. We dont know her real name..
She really likes feathers and as a dragonet collected them constantly, now she doesn't as much but still appreciates them.

Bell was born in Mantis hive. She lived with her father, mother nowhere to be seen, the other parent did not elaborate on where she was. Not too long after her first hatchingday, she met Fern. In a blink of an eye, they became her family too.
Fern and Bell went everywhere together—they were inseparable. But that didn't last long. After both of their metamorphosis, her sibling was taken to another hive. She and her father were still together till she was send off too.
Assigned a new place—Hornet hive, re-cuffed and given a mate she worked at the construction sites. She disliked her assigned mate, Blueday, at first but with more interaction, it turned out that he was a nice guy. Later on he suggests her to join the Chrysalis.
After an incident at the construction sites that caused Bell to almost lose her live and tear her wing, Blueday insistes to lead her out of the hive, to the Beatle Lake and beyond. They barely succeede, and Bell traveles to the mountains and hills of the continent, setteling there.
After about three months of solitude, she defends a dragon attaked by two hivewings, but as it turns out, the dragon was a leafwing with a hatchling. In the unfortunate events, the green dragon did not survive, leaving the smaller one.
Being kind, Bell could't leave the little leafwing all alone, so she took her in and raised her as her own.
(Bell would even go out and hunt for Banyan(leafwing) even tho shes vegetarian)
