what are your favorite versions of twoface ?
What a lovely question, thank you dear anon. The majority of these will be outside of the comics, as there are simply too many of those to cover, however I will bring up honourable mentions.
In writing terms, some iterations I enjoy outside of comics are BtAS and the Arkhamverse.
All of the Two-Face based episodes in BtAS are amazing in my opinion, especially their origin and Second Chance (the latter having the teleplay written by the late Gerry Conway, fun fact). Like many others in the series, their episodes are wonderfully written and heavy with emotion, causing me to go back and rewatch them frequently. I do not think they will ever grow old for me.
Arkhamverse may be due to nostalgia, as I grew up playing Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but the characterisation is also quite nice in my opinion. I think often about their interactions in Arkham Knight, as they're just so tragic to listen to. Especially the conversation with them in the batmobile after completing the mission, that one is great.
For comics (outside of Two-Face classics such as TLH), while not fully about the character writing, I also thought the ideas brought up in Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth were incredibly interesting, with the dice and tarot cards worsening Harvey's decision making capabilities rather than improving them.
In design terms, aside from the ones belonging to medias mentioned above, my absolute favourites would have to be from Batman Forever, Batman '89, and the janus cat mutation from the Batman vs TMNT film.
I will always adore black and white suit designs for Two-Face (the red accents in '89 are such a nice addition, which inspired my personal design), however the exaggerated, over the top, and dare I say campy outfit for Batman Forever perfectly fits the universe and iteration, and just generally... works. Incredibly well, in fact.
I do not have any comments on the Batman vs TMNT design really, I merely find it cool.
I am also fond of the designs from The Lego Batman Movie and Kingdom of the Mad (Gerard Way's cancelled project). Absolute Two-Face has grown on me quite a bit as well, I like the uniqueness of it compared to other designs of theirs.
