An animation illustrating a transdisciplinary model of intervention for stopping and reversing soil erosion trends, a model that was developed in the Rapel River Basin, Chile. Around 12 million hectares of agricultural land is being lost to desertification, degradation and drought every year … and specifically in terms of soil erosion, the equivalent of a football pitch of soil is being eroded every five seconds.
