Hi, I’m Merc! This is gonna be the obligatory master post where I link to other master posts in order to save space combined with specifics of what I write!
I’m comfortable doing headcanons, imagines, basically any type of short requests. I also write fanfiction of all kinds--most of what I post is Reader Insert, but I do occasionally do shipfics, AUs, and more plot-heavy stuff. You can find my boundaries for requests here!
Here are fandoms I’m confident in writing for!

Favorite Ships
The attic is usually dark at this time of night, the one bare bulb that usually illuminates it long gone cold. However, one of the boxes--which seems to have tipped on its side at some point--is casting a soft silvery light on the walls.
If you walk towards it, you'd find the room around you growing larger and larger until even the box itself is taller than you. Soft music and the sound of distant voices chattering emanates from it, and the sounds only grow louder when one of the flaps is pushed aside.
The man who emerges from it has a wide, friendly smile. His hair is brown, shaggy, and just below his chin in length, but his beard is well kept. His outfit is akin to that of a circus ringmaster, though the cheap costume cape and magician's top hat he's wearing seem slightly out of place with the rest of the ensemble. If you look closely at the inside of the cape, it seems to be made out of an instruction manual. He bows in greeting. "Hello there! I am the magnificent Kitt Kazam, the ringmaster of the Carnivale Ignota. It's been quite some time since we've last had guests to perform for, and we would love it if you would join us at least for the night.
He pulls the cardboard flap fully aside, revealing a portal of swirling silvery mist. Will you enter?
Merc here in an OOC post! This account here is a Date Everything Original Character Ask Blog that's going to have a interactive story component to it that askers can directly participate in--including any DE Canon ask blogs, by the way. When you send an ask off anon or with an anon tag, you will basically be getting your own character, and the characters on the blog will remember you, the things you say, and the relationships you build. If that sounds interesting to any of y'all, I'd love to get some more asks for it!
Oooooh, you have an assistant? Can you tell us more about Lune? Are they the person who convinced you to start giving lectures online?
[There's a crow of excitement from off-screen before camera spins to face away from Dolly towards her cameraman, who backs away just enough to come into focus properly.
They're lanky, all long legs and arms, with a crooked smile and dark curls falling just past their jaw--at the roots, a little silver has started to peak through. His shirt--a white button down with most of the buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up to the elbows--is tucked into a pair of dark gray high waisted trousers, and his fingers are covered in silver rings. A pair of silver wire-rimmed half-moon glasses have slid slightly down his hooked nose, and his irises are a warm gray with bright white pupils. Patches of vitiligo, freckles, and hyperpigmentation cover much of their visible skin, which is a cool tan just a touch too desaturated to appear properly human.
He gives the camera a lazy wave, eyes practically shining with delight--actually, they might really be glowing. It's hard to tell.]
Got it in one, darling! I am in fact the one who convinced our dear Doctor Duston here to bring her lectures to an online forum. Lune Luceford the Moonbeam, at your service. In asks from this account, I'll be signed off as 🌕, so do be sure to check for me.
[They give a flourishing bow, tilting their head back with the movement just enough to maintain eye contact.]
I'm a PhD student specializing in Cultural Pragmalogy--the object version of Anthropology--and Linguistics, among other things. If you wish to know more about me, you need only ask. Of course, you can still send questions just to Dolly. I'll only show up when it makes sense, or if directly called for.
[The account lingerie-lectures has just gone live on Instaglam. Join?]
[Dolly smiles, Lint cradled in her arms as he looks curiously towards the camera. She’s standing in front of a blackboard covered in chalk writing and photographs attached by magnet clips.]
Welcome in, students! Class is–
[She cuts herself off with a giggle, shaking her head. The movement sends small clouds of dust into the air while she tries to recenter herself.]
Sorry, first time jitters. Class is in session. Golly, that intro sounded better in my head. I’m Doctor Dolly Duston, one of the professors in the History department at D.U.S.T.–that’s the Domestic Institute of Research and Technology. A friend of mine suggested I stream some of my lectures, so I’m gonna give that a try today.
[She seems to be getting more confident as she goes along, her shoulders relaxing even as her posture remains perfect. Dolly steps slightly to one side, revealing more of the board–the information on it seems to be organized into a timeline of sorts, running from 1945 to 2025.]
Today, we’re going to be covering the development of Dust Society, both as a whole and in microcosm. Unlike most objects where an individual form can be found as well as scraps and components that we’ll often see develop into inanimals, dust can occur almost anywhere with differing makeups. The defining factors that differentiate between dust forming something like me or something like my little buddy right here–
[She lifts Lint up, and he nuzzles against her cheek.]
–will be location and composition. Dust in the outdoors will always be an inanimal, with domesticated species forming in outdoor living areas like porches. They can also form on windowsills or near outer doors. The presence of pets or pest infestations in a house will raise the odds of dust inanimals developing due to the presence of animal dander. Lint is a Pulvilagus cuniculus domesticus, also known as a common domesticated dust rabbit, who developed on the windowsill behind the couch I live under.
[Lint lets out a little ‘meyorp’ at the sound of his name, and Dolly hushes him with head pets.]
Now, I’m an example of Pulvo sapiens, typically known as Dust Bunnies. That being said, just because something appears to be a dust bunny by human definitions doesn’t mean it’s a Dust Bunny. We’ll only form inside buildings and usually have a higher amount of human skin or hair.
Each building will constitute the beginning of a new, insular Dust society. In this house, the first Dust Bunny generation were known as Dustonians–a different house would have a different name. Think of it like how human societies developed independently around the globe–and, like human civilizations, dust societies will often have parallel scientific developments. It’s what makes studying cultures from different buildings so interesting!
[Dolly’s expression is bright as she speaks, the hand not holding Lint moving animatedly as she points to different spots on her timeline.]
A new house will have plenty of individual Dust Bunnies developing all the time, though they generally won’t start organizing until a regular cleaning pattern is established–for example, maybe the owner is incredibly careful about dusting bookshelves but doesn’t bother to move heavy furniture like couches or arm chairs to clean under them. Those spots that get neglected will be where the civilization starts forming. A new homeowner who almost never bothers with cleaning unless necessary will lead to a population and advancement boom, while a more careful cleaner or a full house remodel might lead to something similar to the human Dark Ages. If it’s bad enough, the entire existing culture could be destroyed, leading to the process starting again.
[Her smile falters slightly, no longer reaching her eyes.]
Though plenty of my coworkers visit to participate in research, I’m the only Dust Bunny from this house still living here. If a house is down to one Dust Bunny like that, they won’t be able to leave unless someone trades places with them. That… doesn’t happen often.
[The moment passes almost as quickly as it came, with Dolly giving the camera another dazzling smile.]
Well, that’s it for today’s lecture–any questions?
Hello! If you like my writing and/or like Date Everything, this is my personal ask blog for Dolly who I’m also playing over at @ask-everything. I’d love for people to interact with both!
What it says on the tin! I'm a little rusty at fanfiction, but I'm absolutely obsessed with this game right now and would love to do some headcanons, imagines, or oneshots of either ship or reader insert prompts. For reader inserts, I definitely prefer writing for male characters since I am solely attracted to men (right now my favorites are the Hanks, Chance, Parker Bradley, and Barry Styles) but I'll give anything a go.
Reblogging this to say that if you do request something, give me at least a tiny bit of detail (pre-realization, post-realization, human au, etc). I want to make sure you get what you actually want!
I never really thought about their dynamic before the stuff over on @ask-everything (which you should check out btw) but I love them so have another shitty comic :>

Hello! Last night I was thinking about Eddie and Volt’s Realization ending and some posts about the player moving out of the house after everyone leaves and my brain spit this out. The focus is on Eddie and Volt, but I’ll have as many characters joining in as possible. For now, it’s only a set of headcanons, but if people are interested in oneshots or even a fic I’d be happy to write it! Just let me know. My ask box is open for requests!
Before you read, this will have spoilers for Realization endings and I want to tack on a content warning just in case. There will be some themes of loneliness and OCD/Hoarding, but I won’t be going too into depth. If you want a scale, it’ll be much less intense than Jerry–maybe closer to Hoove’s thing.
The Discovery
Eddie and Volt are very much caught up in their own lives and business for a while–after all, starting a Real Estate business is no easy task. You’re there to cheer them on from the sidelines, and they visit when they can. It’s just almost always meeting up at a bar or club for a quick drink, dance, or chat.
Once they settle in a bit better, however, the two start visiting you at home. Eddie’s mostly focused on making sure the electrical panel and the house’s wiring is in working order (and not going to burn the place down), so it’s Volt who spends time with you. Over the course of their visits, he notices that something seems to have changed.
It’s little things at first. You’re quieter, more subdued, and the hugs you give them before they leave feel just a little bit tighter. Then one day he comments on how the wall paper upstairs might need replacing–the corner’s been peeling for years, after all–and you immediately shut it down. When he tries to have a discussion about it, you accidentally refer to the wall as ‘him’ before shutting down completely.
That’s when Volt notices something–the house has not changed since the day the last object-turned-human left for their new lives. Koa had sent you new furniture pieces, he knows, but none can be found anywhere in the house. There’s a fine layer of dust on most surfaces, and every object he lifts leaves behind a perfect indentation to mark where it “should” be.
It takes a few more visits for the two of them to finally bring it up to you, and the reason you give them is heartbreaking: not only do you miss your friends and lovers, but a part of you is afraid they’re still somehow connected to their original objects. What if you vacuum up all the dust bunnies and something happens to Dolly? Would accidentally knocking over the ship-in-a-bottle that was once Jacques be breaking him?
Eddie and Volt’s hearts break as they realize the accidental hell you’ve trapped yourself into, and sure, maybe Eddie is supposed to be working on not carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, but they decide they can make an exception just this once for their Live Wire. They know they can’t leave you alone in this empty house terrified that any change will ruin the lives you’d worked so hard to give to the dozens of people you’d grown to love.
The Intervention
The first step is a lot of phone calls, starting with Teddy, Jerry, Chance, and Lady Memoria. Chance’s certifications in Psychology come in handy for talking you through your fears, especially with Jerry there to remind you of how you helped him. Sure, his junk wasn’t exactly alive in the same way these objects had been, but it’s nice to not feel alone. When things get to be too much, Teddy is there for a comforting hug and encouragement. That’s when their fifth guest arrives: Beau.
When they first propose the plan to you, you’re absolutely against it. However, Beau reasons, she was the embodiment of every cardboard box in the house, not just a single object. It wouldn’t kill her to lose just one. Besides, if it will help you, she’d gladly embark on such a treacherous adventure–what’s one hand or ear in the grand scheme of things? If anything, she’ll have an incredible story to tell her campers.
Once that first box is carefully cut down to a more manageable size with a box cutter and placed in the trash without any harm to Beau, that’s when you break down with relief. From that point on, it’s time for Memoria to take over–with some help, of course.
Objects are sorted into three categories: Functioning, Non-Functioning, and Fixed. One by one, the people that represent the parts of the house you absolutely can’t take with you visit to reassure you that they won’t be hurt by being left behind. By the time Jean-Loo is dragged in both to apologize for his silence and tell you that it’s alright to not take actual toilets with you, you’re feeling rather silly about the whole thing. Most of their visits are, of course, spent reminiscing and enjoying each other’s company, beginning to fill the void you didn’t even know existed.
For the non-functioning category, Hoove and Freddy actually encourage you to buy replacements for the objects they used to be. All the major appliances in the house that you could take with you are either past the end of their warranty or just about at the end, and they all agree they’d rather you have safer, better functioning ones than get caught up on sentimentality. Again, each of them gets a tight hug upon departure, leaving behind a promise to visit or at least communicate a bit more often.
Finally, the functioning category. Memoria gives you four options: keep, storage, trash, or offer it to the person themselves so they can decide. You and Lyric split your book collection, well-read copies full of sentimental value that even a first edition couldn’t replace, Diana encourages you to keep using your diary, and Barry is delighted to take you to replace your old cosmetics with new ones.
Weeks of work pass, and once it’s just you, Jerry, Teddy, Chance, and Lady Memoria left, the house is emptier, sure, but much lighter. You thank them with tearful hugs and whispers of love and support. Then, finally, you’re alone–that is, until Volt and Eddie arrive and ask you to come with them.
The Surprise
It’s a short drive to their newest property acquisition, one spent with quiet conversation about how you’re feeling. You thank them for caring enough to help pull you out of that hole you were in, and Eddie simply smiles while Volt tells you not to thank them just yet.
The house they lead you into is quite a bit bigger than your old place. Eddie talks about the work he’s put into redoing the ventilation, electrical, and plumbing while Volt paints a picture of what each room could be–a gym and an office, of course, but also plenty of guest rooms, a library, a music room, and even a game room. Finally, at the end of the tour, they make you an offer: your old house for this one. A fresh start, one where you’ll have room for the friends and lovers that you now know miss you just as much as you miss them will be able to come and visit–or even stay with you fully with their own spaces–to spend time with you and engage in the activities that you’d bonded over.
When asked about the price difference between the two properties, they simply wave it off, telling you not to worry. The secret? Several of your more successful object-turned-human loved ones decided to chip in to cover the cost. It’s a gift made with love and care–after all, none of them want their beloved human to be alone. That house had, for many of them, been a veritable prison. They can’t stand to leave you to that same fate.
Koa was overjoyed when you finally accepted his gifts of new furniture, with each and every couch and bed that passed through your door stamped with his utmost seal of approval. Washford and Drysdale insisted upon handling the landscaping themselves, and both your front and back yards became the envy of all your new neighbors. Artt, Daisuke, and Hector took it upon themselves to ensure artworks of every kind had a place on the walls and surfaces. By the time everyone who wanted to had left some sort of personal touch on your new abode and you and those who had chosen to take up a more permanent residence had finished settling in, the place was bursting with the life and love that you hadn’t even known you’d been missing.
ANOTHER BARRY FAN SPOTTED!! Can we get some Barry Relationship Hc's?😊❤️💄
Hello! I saw this one and immediately got very very excited, so I wrote some pre-Realization and post-Realization headcanons. I'd be happy to expand or add more if anyone's interested!
Barry Styles Relationship Headcanons
Pre-Realization:
Barry took the idea of finding things to hyperfixate on together very seriously, though he’ll never force you to participate in a hobby or interest that you aren’t feeling the same way he is.
The king of parallel play dates–you two can engage in separate activities together and regularly show the other what you’re doing. The month where he got really into crochet led to each date night ending in a small crocheted animal being presented to you. By the end, you had a toucan, a puffin, and a crab. The puffin and the toucan had accurate colors, but the crab was hot pink.
Movie nights are almost always documentaries–you take turns picking the topics. He’ll almost always tend towards nature documentaries or documentaries about the fashion and makeup industries.
Between him and Amir (but mostly him), your confidence in your appearance has never been higher. He makes a point of making sure any makeup you wear is for the right reasons.
Have worries about your skin or hair care routines? Boom, new hyperfixation for him. He’ll figure out the perfect products while reassuring you that you’re perfect even with slightly frizzy hair or a breakout.
Post-Realization:
The big fear Barry first got when he started traveling and realized that he couldn’t remember what country he was in was that he’d forget how to get back to you. You were entirely sure he wouldn’t–especially since the companies he worked with were given a heads up to make sure he was well taken care of–but that didn’t stop him from worrying.
To help, you created a sheet of stickers and a stamp that listed your phone number, your email address, and your home address. The stamp is used on the first page of every notebook he buys, and the stickers are put on random objects he owns: the empty space below the keyboard of his laptop, his favorite makeup case, anything. That way, he can always know how to contact or get back home to you.
This does also mean you get called when he loses one of these things, but it could be worse. Whenever he comes back for a visit, you have a box of his lost belongings waiting for him.
He loves going over the notes he takes specifically of things to tell you. When he’s home, you two will sit on the couch together to read and talk about them. Otherwise, you’re the lucky recipient of many, many rambling video chats and phone calls.
Oh, if he couldn’t find the right products for you before? Now he’s going to make them. There’s a reason all his best products are for your skin type. He’s never more excited than when he gets to present you with a new formula guaranteed to work for you–or, well, when he gets to give you a gift in general.
He’s a very thoughtful gift giver, especially now that he can write down ideas and notes about what you like.
What it says on the tin! I'm a little rusty at fanfiction, but I'm absolutely obsessed with this game right now and would love to do some headcanons, imagines, or oneshots of either ship or reader insert prompts. Did You Really Expect The Toilet Man To Be Your Husband? (Date Everything | Jean-Loo Pissoir/Player, 1.3K Words)
Spoilers for Jean-Loo's Realized Ending! For some reason, I just got really amused by the whole thing and decided to write this. This is completely gender neutral reader insert, by the way. I tried a new style for it, so there's no use of second person or (Y/N). This was the first fic I've written in a while, though, so I had a lot of fun!
Jean-Loo didn’t have a birthday. His parents hadn’t really seen a point to it. After all, he would eventually strike out on his own as some form of installed bathroom plumbing, never to see them again. However, if anyone asked for a date that he’d celebrate his life on, it’d be the day his previous owner-turned-lover freed him from the porcelain prison of excrement collection and made him into an actual human. That was, after all, the day his life truly began! He’d left the house with dreams of finally, finally getting the recognition Lil’ Crapper deserved–fame, money, fans, all of it–and, to his credit, he did somehow manage to release two albums that went Porcelain, a new category created just for him. Unfortunately, a Porcelain Record turned out to be more of a joke award than anything. Turns out calling his style of rap ‘crapping’ lended itself to too many jokes at his expense no matter how incredible his skills might be. Sure, he was still getting royalties from his music, but it wasn’t really enough when faced with the actual expenses of life.
His brilliant partner had suggested that each newly realized household object attend college and, after one year of dedication to his career as Lil’ Crapper, Jean-Loo had had to throw in the towel and take that advice. Specifically, he’d had to take out student loans. Life as a toilet trapped in a single house did not lend itself to knowledge of finances in the human world, of course. In his defense, he’d been most focused on figuring out personal hygiene after the fifth person actually gagged at his breath while speaking to him face to face. After one of his fellow students heard about his story and the interest rate on the loans he’d been looped into, Jean-Loo found himself being pushed to take courses in Finances to understand the terrible decision he’d made. Turned out, however, that his skills pertaining to flow were not limited to rap, drumming, and plumbing–knowledge of cash flow came to him quite easily.
So, that’s how the brilliantly talented Lil’ Crapper the Rapper, once destined for stardom, became the vaguely exhausted Jean-Loo Pissoir the Accountant. It was perhaps not the life he’d always envisioned, but it was enough to keep a roof over his head–very important after he’d practically blown up his relationship after agreeing to help his partner with taxes that turned out to be so nightmarish he’d immediately ghosted so as to not have to deal with it. Not the best moment of his new human life, to be sure, but it had to be done.
Some of his coworkers had disagreed with his decision, arguing it couldn’t have been that bad. However, his cubical mate, Derek something-or-other–perhaps Jean-Loo should have at least glanced over at his name placard to learn the full name of his first friend outside the house, but shitty habits die hard. He hadn’t even learned his partner’s last name, after all–had at least attempted to be understanding about it. “Sure,” he’d said, “you just understood you weren’t equipped to handle that kind of case yet. You should still probably call.” Jean-Loo knew he should. He still didn’t.
Now, as he crouches behind his cubicle wall, face pale and sweat already beginning to bead on his forehead, he’s really wishing he had. Derek, who he’d been talking to only mere moments before, stares down at him, brow furrowed with confusion. “What’s the matter with you? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” No, Jean-Loo has seen a ghost before. This is worse. So much worse.
“You take the next client,” he hisses, still crouched out of sight. All that gets him is more confusion. With a grunt of frustration, he pulls the paperwork from his desk, holding it up and pointing to the name. Derek leans in, squinting behind a pair of thick glasses before his eyes widen in recognition and flick to the person who had just entered their office space. “Oh, that’s–”
“Yes.” Jean-Loo groans, staring up at the ceiling in a silent prayer to whatever god might be listening to save him from this situation. “And you still haven’t–”
“Yes.” The look Derek gives him is something between sympathetic and bemused. “You left that? I mean, that fantastic red shirt alone–”
“I know!” Jean-Loo near shouts, burying his face in his hands. The people in the cubicles across from them are watching now, any other work or conversations forgotten in favor of watching his suffering. Before he can try to get out of this, however, a terribly familiar voice full of anger fills the room. “You.”
After only a brief moment of considering whether he could get the window open and jump out before getting caught, Jean-Loo’s shoulders drop in defeat. He looks up into those beautiful eyes with the best smile he can muster. “Mon cœur! It’s wonderful to see you again.”
“Oh, don’t you even start.” There’s giggling from the next cubicle over. This must be what hell is like. There’s a sigh and the shake of a head before a hand is held out to help him up. Jean-Loo takes it, avoiding eye contact. “I was going to call, I swear–”
“Were you?” Derek interrupts, and Jean-Loo wants to strangle that shit-eating grin off his face. “Because I’ve been telling you to do that for months.”
“Shut up,” Jean-Loo pleads, but Derek is already holding out a hand for a shake. “I’m Derek Walters, one of Jean-Loo’s coworkers. I’ve heard all about you.”
“I wish I could say the same.” The pointed glare directed at him has Jean-Loo actually flinching. “Mon amour–”
“Save it.” The hand held up to silence him and pinched brow would have been enough even without the verbal request. “Let’s just get this over with.”
The conference rooms always feel a little cramped, but today it feels near suffocating, especially with the dead silence and glare being leveled at him. Five minutes in and Jean Loo has already loosened his tie, sweat dripping down into his collar as he reviews documents and valiantly avoids eye contact with the person who is ostensibly the love of his life. Finally, he cracks. “I really was going to call.”
“Oh, were you now?” He winces again, the dry disbelief in those words hurting more than he’d like to admit. “I wanted to?”
“Just focus on the paperwork, Pissoir.” His shoulders slump, jaw working for a moment as he tries to come up with something to fix this. “Your finances are in much better shape now,” he offers, “I’m impressed.”
“That is what tends to happen when I’m not dealing with a federal investigation into the dozens of new people I unleashed into the world and can instead focus on my actual job instead of relying on my savings.” Right, he’d heard something about that. Out of options, Jean-Loo finally resorts to simply saying, “I’m sorry.”
Skeptical eyes stare at him. “Go on.”
“I should have called you back.” A nod, another gesture for him to continue. “I’ll come over tonight after work?”
“And how long will you stay?” This feels like a trick question. It is a Friday, though, so he does have some time on his hands. “Until you tell me to leave or I need to go to work?”
Another nod, this time accompanied by softening eyes and a slight smile. It feels like a weight is being lifted off of his chest, and he can finally focus on doing his job properly. For all his troubles, Jean-Loo receives a quick goodbye kiss on the cheek by his desk. When the office door finally closes behind his beloved partner, he collapses into his desk chair. It rolls back a bit, bumping harshly into the edge of his desk as he hunches over and once again covers his face with his hands, ignoring Derek’s questions about how the meeting went. Instead, he simply whispers, “Shit.”

Hope you enjoyed reading this! If you did, feel free to send any Date Everything fic requests to my inbox.
Hello! I recently got super duper into Date Everything and wanted to dust off my fanfiction writing skills for it. So, if you have any fic ideas or headcanon requests, feel free to drop them in my inbox or reply to this post! <3
So, listen. We’re not going to judge me for a while, ok? I thought that, since I get a lot of reader insert, I’d give y’all a list of my favorite fictional crushes so you can kinda gauge what I’ll write best for--to clarify, you can still request other people. This is just a list of characters I’ll prioritize. Anyways, list under the cut, I’m sorry in advance, please don’t judge me too harshly, and this list will be updated as I remember or discover the characters I’m in love with.
While I’m feeling all chatty, I thought I’d make a masterpost of some of my favorite ships, or just ships I’ll write for in general. Italicized Ships will be ones I’m ok writing as reader insert poly relationships and bolded ones are ships I’m desperate to write for. This list will be updated as I remember what I ship, tbh. Also, these aren’t exhaustive or exclusive, just my preferences. If you have a ship you like, feel free to shoot it my way!

What if I actually wrote the crossover fic of Moriarty the Patriot, The Case Study of Vanitas, and Black Butler that’s been rolling around in my head? I’ve been working out a canon for it for the past week and it feels like a great way to get back into fanfiction writing after an ex friend ruined my confidence around it. It could probably be a stepping stone back to Obey Me too, honestly.
Caved and wrote out a potential way to do the plot using Black Butler’s arcs for the main scaffolding and Jack the Ripper arcs in Black Butler and Moriarty the Patriot to intersect them! Would love feedback if anyone sees a better way to do any parts of it, honestly, since some of it gets clunky–it mentions parts of both The Case Study of Vanitas (not really but still) and Black Butler that haven’t yet been animated, so please be aware of that!
Timeline
Noahtic (Ciel meets William and Sherlock, Count Enders incident piques Ciel’s interest for similar reasons to Sherlock’s)
Hounds of Baskerville/Blue Memory (Ciel and Sebastian meet Fred, Louis, and Moran–Baskerville is in opposing cult to one that Ciel was taken by)
A Scandal in the British Empire (Ciel is sent after Irene to retrieve the incriminating documents, follows the same loophole of “Irene Adler” being dead to spare James Bonde after recognizing Fred and his involvement as a potential lead on the Lord of Crime case for when Queen Victoria asks him to investigate it)
Phantom of Whitechapel/Red Butler
*The Aristocrat of Evil versus The Noble Criminal*

What if I actually wrote the crossover fic of Moriarty the Patriot, The Case Study of Vanitas, and Black Butler that’s been rolling around in my head? I’ve been working out a canon for it for the past week and it feels like a great way to get back into fanfiction writing after an ex friend ruined my confidence around it. It could probably be a stepping stone back to Obey Me too, honestly.
Welcome to a project I started to explain to my friend my type, which can be divided into four categories:
- Wet Garbage
- Dangerously Competent
- Heart of Gold
- Stupid Genius
Feel free to use this and any other updates as a guide for requesting reader insert fanfiction over at @scarlet-streak-fanfics!
