Background

At the age of 10 HYDRA took Scarlet from her family. She was trained and brainwashed to become another Winter Soldier. In her early 20’s she was given the super soldier serum and then frozen. When she got back out of the freezer she served HYDRA as a Winter Soldier, at some point killing her own parents. She knew Bucky but when he was saved but HYDRA decided to brainwash her to forget him. Years later she was saved by Bucky and taken to the Avengers tower, soon becoming an Avenger. But with her records not cleared Tony has her stay in the tower unless she is on a mission. She is close friends with Bucky, Sam, Yelena and Steve. She’s the closest with Bucky and Yelena as they can relate and understand what she’d gone through…

He freezes at the sound of her voice. It sounded so calm and normal. Another reminder of how he was failing. He is supposed to be the strong one. He has to be. He turns to look at her, trying his best to stay focused and appear fine.
